im going with mars fce 4800

For whatever it's worth. I am very, very, pleased with my purchase of the pb 4000. Please note I do not have anything to compare it to but everything about it seems to be very well built. Very bright (I haven't run over 80% yet) I don't think it runs hot. It's quite (maybe they all are?) I have used it from seedling to my current stage in Veg. (10% to 80%) and it has proven to be more than adequate. I have a 6 x 5 room, but my growing area is roughly 4 x 4. Only light I have so I will be using thru flower and continually on other grows. So... time will tell. Take a look at my diary and see what you think. My girls seem to love it! Good luck, I don't think you can grow wrong.😁

Also my MAXSISUN does have the good meanwell driver and good samsung diods. It stays fairly cool.

Im Using the pb4000 pro. I like it so far. Plant is growing very well under it.

The mars ts series heatsinks are pretty much worthless. And I haven't used the maxisun but it just looks like a cheap flat aluminum heatsinks also. I would recommend something like the enfun ef2000. You could get 2 of them and be running 480 actual watts with better coverage for less than those other lights cost. They have better heatsinks and they use samsung lm301 diodes run on a meanwell driver. Check them out on amazon. You have to be careful taking advice about lighting around here. A lot of people are "sponsored" by mars and other light manufacturers so they will give you bad advice because it benefits them. Best of luck!
