Brown spots and yellow tips in flower, started around wk 8-9. Thanks!

My 10wk old Auto Trainwreck started showing brown spots and yellow tips @ wk 8-9 but even after up'ing Calmag to each water wk 8 (1tsp/gal) it's everywhere now. It's been 75-50% the whole time- deficiency in late flower? Again big THX to the community - for more than just this.

yes its best to mix in the amendments when your top dressing. I ruff up the top later of the pot and get them in that way. I also water slowly and with a wand that kinda mists it out. if it still hard and clumping together I will stab it with some sticks to help break it up. or add a layer of soil on top of it so its always moist and not drying out and getting chunky. 4-4-4 is great in veg and 4-8-4 should be good in flower. I like to see the potassium and phosphorous reach equal numbers ideally but have seen good grows off of something like what your using. I use Gaia Green "ucann" line and their products are 5-4-5 for grow and 2-7-7 for bloom, Gaia has since discontuniend this lineup for some reason. :( I plan on supplementing with seaweed 0-0-16 to get the extra potassium in flower next run when I go back to 4-4-4 grow & 2-8-4 powerbloom. Glad to hear you will give them a down time next run, I find it can help solve a lot of little issues and make they shine :D Cheers,

Thanks m0use. I ph every time to 6.5 or a little under but I should prob be checking my runoff, I guess? Could it be under-watering (I typically water on a WxFxW schedule throughout)? I also used Recharge up to about wk 9. Could it have something to do with cutting out 4-4-4 for the last top-dress, and only using 484 and Fish Bone Meal? So maybe underfed? I'd love to go with DtE but I've gotta figure out what's happening in mid-to-late flower- same thing with a 1g CDLC last month. Thanks again, and I will be switching back to 18-6 with my next run but I honestly think this is something else- showing up so late in flower. I also have read about the usual suspects and causes, but my last idea is that I scratched up the surface of the soil because the dry amendments had hardened some on top of the soil- and as I type that, both of those things seem wrong. Thanks again m0use and anyone else with some specific advice- I understand people feel strongly about a 24hr light sched so- message received! 😬🙏

Also give your plants some down time 18/6 or 20/4 is good. 24/0 is not ideal and can cause little issues like stress and overall unwell look to the plants if everything else if not locked in.

Might be a PH issue. I like to correct my waters PH to 6.5-6.8 when using dry amendments. When I grew with out using a PH meter my pants did what yours are doing now. They will finish flowering and be good but cant help but think if they could have been more. Given the relatively small planting space/pot for a large plant its harder for the microbes to keep PH in check, this gets more complicated with more amendments getting mixed in that alter ph as well. I also like to add in extra microbes in every other week to help boost the soils bioavailability/population. As a side note check the underside of the leaves for eggs, not saying they have mites but some of the markings are mite like on the leaf structure. Good Luck!
