Seedling skinny taper on stem??

My 1 day old seedling is about 4 inches in height and has tapered in the middle to a really skinny point and it's done this in the space of 12 hours? What is happening?

Drop your light. Inch at a time. That's what I would do.

How close/intense is you light? Stretching is a sign of too little/too weak lighting

Has the early stretch ruined my plant at the first hurdle?Not really seeing growth in the way I have in past grows, should I cull one because of the stretch so early on and start again, or will it level out in a week or two?? Wtf happened?Wondering if anyone can help me understand why one plant grew out so stretched and with unformed buds while the other from same seed packet appears normal. Is this just a weird pheno? The strain (NLTxGelato) is a new one so I'm not sure how stable the genetics are.

enlonged budsThe younger plant has developed flowers in an enlonged shape. The plant herself has grew a lot during her cycle (plant on the left day 72) and I can't understand the reason. Maybe some stress due to the hot temperature in the box during the veg (30ºC as peaks sometimes).Any idea?
