Will the real Strawberry Pie please stand up?

Both of these plants are from the same seed order, were grown at the same time, and under the same conditions. Clearly, they are not the same. The one on the left looks Indica-dominant, so I think it could be the real 'Strawberry Pie' I ordered. Any thoughts???

Phenotype expression , exacerbated further by the ruderalis genetics. You want picture perfect similarity, run clones. This is why autos lose a massive amount of points for me personally.. the one on the left is gonna finish way before the other one. My strawberry pie auto went 105 days.. If you want consistency, get some fem photos, pop a few, find one with desirable traits and make a mother, take cuts and do runs from those.

Great feedback folks, thanks! This is my first auto and I had no idea there was so much variability in phenotype expression. I was sure that I got seeds from different strains. To be honest, the only reasons I care are maintaining appropriate light consistency (I elevated the pot on the left since this picture was taken) and the different nutrient ratio schedules required because of the development pace discrepancy. I had to build a separate reservoir and set up a second pump to address different feedings. It's all good now and it'll be interesting to see how they finish. Thanks again!

I had two years ago first FB SPA diary and both girls were different. Later ones were looking more like smaller, just went big at mines and at my friend's Breeding stable seed is almost impossible. Like sisters and brothers from same parents sometimes looking so different too ... Enjoy ! Both looks very nice !

I’m on crop 7 at the minute and my first photo fems. The previous 6 were autos and the first thing I noticed about this crop is the plants appearance is strikingly similar to one another. The autos never turned out the same way twice and I was growing 5 of a kind each time. I think it’s just one of the downsides to autos. Fortunately, my lights are Migro 8s and individual sections can be adjusted by height.

I’ve had the same thing with a few different auto seeds , the Zkittlez berry blast were polar opposites in that one finished in 10 weeks the other took 16 weeks and had distinctly different looking buds and flavours. Enjoy those buds man , they are looking fruity as

That's the phenotype expressing itself. Seeds like like brothers and sisters. they don't grow identical, they have their own phenotype and genetics. They will be a mix of their mothers and father or father-mother if it was fem. Its also good to note that cannabis is so highly inbreed it has a lot of weird variations. Not quite the same as growing out a batch of Black Cherry Tomatoes. A good breeder will not sell their seeds till they lock in their traits and phenotypes. Fastbuds are not the breeders of the seeds, they are resellers. So depending how much they pay or demand from the breeders its not completely in their control. Autos are also a mixed bag of traits on a good day. If you looking for a brand with some solid reputation try AMS, they are talked very high;y on here. Same with Ethos Genetics. Most of the Brands/Seedbanks are resellers they are not real breeders. They sometimes have no idea what they are even selling or have never grown it out themselves. Best Of Luck!

No seed will be the same as another. They aren't like clones taken from a mother plant. Nice looking plants!
