Male plant dropping pollen in veg

Yes it can like others said, wind/air flow in the house can carry it, clothes, moving it around. Lots of ways to have an issue. That said, I have a male in a room next to my female room (male is about 20 steps from females) and have not had an accidental seed, just be careful. Also, water apparently deactivates pollen (not sure if it kills, or just immobilizes, haven't looked into the science) I usually hit my male with a spray bottle daily and have yet to have an accident, but wouldn't suprise me if it happens soon, getting to comfortable. Will be putting my male and female breeding pair out this spring so will be rid of that issue soon.

It really can't if it's in 2 different rooms but let's say u go check on ur male plant pollen can get on ur clothes and when u go see ur girl's it can be transferred so just make sure when u go c ur girl's u don't have what u had on when u seen ur male's. Best of luck 👍

That stuff can carry like you would not believe! It can effect your females! Can travel in the air up to a mile! On your clothes, etx.

what's general airflow in house? e.g. in mine it goes west to east 9 our of 10 days. or more... if your home's natural airflow pushes that way, you'll probably get a few regardless, but with doors closed or other precautions it should be minimal and of no concern. two, you need to avoid contaminating it with your own behaviours... so when you do garden chores, always do teh bloom area first... never go back there after going into area with male plant. if oyu do, wash hands, maybe change your clothes, etc, LOL... get your work done, and just don't go back in there if you've worked with male plant later on. i had a male plant "2 rooms away". i broke my protocol once (stupid shit) and i have a few seeds as a result. the plants i touched, have more than a few seeds, but still not a ton (maybe 20 in 6-8 oz? and other plants are 1/4th of that just from me walking by them). I went from male area and fiddled with a couple plants before i realized what i had done. Due to consistent age of seeds found, it's safe to say they all got fertilized around the same time and likely vast majority from that day, otherwise i'd have a range of matured and immature seeds if it were constantly happening. Even with my fuckup, i got very few seeds. Air doesn't flow toward that room, naturally, though, so that helped too. it will get on your hands, your hair your clothes and that will potentially pollinate a plant. The airflow creataed just from walking is enough to spread it far and wide. if you have a circulating fan on in male area, then it's all over you no matter how careful you think you are while in there ... ALL over you, lol.
