Cuttings / Clones from auto - White Widow S1 Auto, 20% Ruderalis (critical auto [critical x ruderalis] x white widow)

Have any of you guys ever taken cuttings/clones from autos? This is my first time with ruderalis cross, and I am reading that I shouldn't even top the plants as they will likely start to flower as they reach 5-8 nodes. Will the plant be super stunted after a clip..?

Doesn't work, its that auto flowering gene that prevents it from being successful. By the time roots form, the plant will be wanting to flower, not continue veg growth, making cuttings/clones pointless. In my experience, autos do best if left intact and when not topped.

I have cloned autos for breeding but you cant really clone them to grow more plants from them. They will flower and just produce one little bud. You can too autos early in veg if they are growing fast, but I would only do it in hydro

Unfortunately, that is the bane of all autoflowers; you can't take cuttings and clones from them. One of the more knowledgeable growers here can explain the details of why that is so but apparently it just doesn't work out.

You can't clone autos. Don't even try because it just won't work. I would also advise not to top an auto - this is FAR too stressful for an auto and will most likely result in the plant giving you absolutely nothing. The only thing you should be considering is some LST (although I accidently did an HST on one of my autos with 4 weeks to go to harvest and that stem & bud survived quite nicely). Be gentle here... autoflowers are pre-programmed to do their thing... you can tell it where you want it to try growing (i.e., LST) but beyond that, they have the minds set and anything stronger will destroy their plan for themselves. Good luck -

Ich vermute mal, ein Klon einer automatischen hat einfach zu wenig Zeit um zu Wurzeln, dann auch zu wachsen bevor es für sie schon in die Blüte geht. Sie bleibt also wohl eher kümmerlich. Die "Mutterpflanze" würde es zudem sehr stressen, was automatische überhaupt nicht mögen😅
