This is probably the last flowering week for Maria. I got a new magnifyer today and it looks like the trichones are starting to turn amber. She's been a joy to grow and hopefully she'll give a good harvest

Grow Questions

The weather outside was really wet and chilly for days here and the humidity is about 60% at this point. Without a duct fan, how can I lower the humidity in the tent? I'm using several small fans right now. I plan to get a duct fan when I can, but I need something until then

60% won't cause a problem. Late in summer i have 70-80%. Google a VPD chart and dial in temp for that humidity, and you'll be rocking as good as you can without a dehumidifier... even if you get one, use that VPD chart.

Do ya'll think that Maria is ready for harvest now? This is my first grow and I'm not sure if I'm harvesting too soon. She's been in bloom for about 55 days now, and that seems like a really long time to me

It's looking close, you're probably getting into the harvest window if you prefer the less sedative effects of an early harvest. I think many growers would give it a few more weeks, but everybody has different preferences! I judge when to harvest by overall bud growth/development, and the change from milky to amber trichomes on the buds themselves (not the leaves). Hope this helps, the plants are looking great! Happy growing! 👍🌱

Go to ebay and buy a jewler's loupe, they are pretty cheap and it's what you need to see the state of your trichomes. If you have clones or seeds from the same strain I would harvest at different times for each grow and see what you prefer for future grows.
