Fresh Air

Hey legends I have a 5x5 ft tent 2mtrs tall. I have a carbon filter attached to a 8 speed quiet fan which will suck the smell and hot air out. Should I have fresh air coming into the bottom of the tent? My plants look really healthy anyway thank you

If you are using an extractor fan you need a vent to help let air in. I use Secret Jardin light proof air vents, They can be installed on any tent with poles and every without, but they would just hang there. https://www.secretjardin.com/product-category/ventilation/ Their are also other options, it will extend your fans life and with a carbon filter attached it already has resistance no need to add more. Good Luck!

If your tent has a little bottom flap vent mesh screen, every now and then just open it to give your tent a good cycle of fresh air. Doing this will put less strain on your fan and filter too as its not sucking up so much. Otherwise it will do the job just fine especially because you have a large tent it definitely helps with air circulation. Happy grow freind!
