Piss Ants are crawling up your pots and biting the water out for the nest or fruit gnats, not fungus gnats. If you spot them again, grab some ortho liquid and place it on the ground beside the pot and they will run to it and drink untill they all die. Good luck

Hey Ketamascience, Thoose are done by insects, i would advice you to get some spray to prefend more damage. Since your are growing outside, the chance of many insects is high. I would recommend to buy CANNA CURE, it not only prefends, it makes a biological layer and it even holds some usefull nutrients in it for the leafs. Just spray once a week and you will be fine, im doing the same thing. Goodluck growing :)
