That be a thrip alright.
I've had an ongoing relationship with thrips for years and have just got used to them being around. Forces me to spend more time with my plants hunting the little bastards down so it's kinda a good thing for me as I tend to neglect my plants otherwise.
Mites are a different story and really blow up in flower whereas I can no longer find any thrips on my 7 weeks in flowering plants. My last 3 grows have been like that where I hunt and kill thrips twice a day with a big magnifying glass tho the adults are easy enough to see you want to kill the babies before they mature enough to lay eggs. Seems they don't like flowering plants much and just seem to disappear half way thru.
