Sure you can grow it outside but it has probily weak resistances against all kinds of plagues.
or doesn't get well with colds.
Just put her inside the house when the temperature goes below 15 degrees and get yourself
a decent spray against plagues, buy something like Canna cure, Spray once a week to keep the molds and insects away.

Give it a shot, whats the worst that can happen, its dies? meh still will get something out of it + experiences.
A plants environment for growing should not be thought of indoor and outdoors, as indoors we try and mimic outdoors just with more precision and expert feeding control.

Broken/damaged stem at nodeIs this a good enough job to repair a partial broken stem w/ cotton twine?
Stem broke at the base of the node. Still firmly attached/stands on its own before being tied. Could even move the whole plant when manipulated. The damage has to be 24 hours old.
Any advice appreciated
