Pale Top Leaves

Greetings presently. I’m concerned about one plant. Top leaves are much lighter green than the other two plants and some leaftips are yellowing. This is the tallest plant so raised the light thinking could be light burn. Or nute deficiency? Thoughts?

Each plant is different and some will respond completely differently to the same treatment as their sisters... It looks like this lady needs just a tad bit more nitrogen and I would suggest you add Tiger Bloom to her feed (the others might like this as well...). Big Bloom has NO nitrogen but you don't want to go back to Grow Big because that's got far too much for the flowering stage. Tiger Bloom has a small amount of nitrogen and I'm pretty certain she will respond nicely. It is now a staple of MY feeding regime... That being said, I will tell you I had a grow of three plants, same strain, where one of them was steadfastly lime green throughout her life no matter WHAT I did for her... didn't affect her harvest at all - in fact, she was the best producer - but still try to get your lady back in line with the others... The only other thing I will mention here is that your feeding all of them a little lightly... By week 4 (from germination), I'm feeding my grows with 6tsp Big Bloom and .5 to 1 tsp Grow Big (depending on how they're handling the nitrogen)... Week 5, I'm still feeding 6 tsp Big Bloom but cut out the Grow Big and add 1 tsp Tiger Bloom... Week 6 through harvest I feed 6tsp Big Bloom and 2-3 tsp Tiger Bloom. I also add 1tsp CalMag but only once a week and then only if they need it. Good luck!

Thanks all. To recap, seems like there’s a consensus that the plant is ok but is nutrient hungry. I’d read soooo many people saying that FFOF is hot that I might have gone overboard on the reduced feedings. All this makes sense. She’s taller and a bit larger than the other big plant, so she’s hungrier and will show signs first. Looking back I definitely regret topping the shorter one but not the larger. I didn’t do both because I’m a noob and was scared of topping. For some reason I had no problem stripping out handfuls of big fan leaves, but the thought of cutting off a tiny bit of new growth at the top was terrifying. But that started the two plants on different paths that has been a pain in the ass to keep them at equal light distance, and ultimately led me to ask this question. I’m aiming to scrog on my next grow. I dream of an even canopy. @GrowingGrannie, thanks so much for the breakdown. Extremely helpful. I’ll add in the Tiger Bloom on my next feeding and also bump up the other feedings. And thanks to EVERYONE for being so helpful. This community has been extremely welcoming and supportive.

Hey. After looking at your other plants they v look super healthy but I do see what you are talking about. And it has nothing to do with micro nutrients. As GrowingG said. All plants take to dif levels of nutrients differently. The lighter 1 just needs an extra lil kick then what you are given compared to the others. So an extra couple ppm/ec (extra base nutes) will help. You really are keeping your eye on the ball. Very good spot. She's just wanting a lil more feed is all. She hasn't even gotten to the point in taken from any other source. So you are very very close to having it dialed in. Good luck bro.

Not heat, but a lack of trace elements. Easily solved with one or two applications of soluble trace elements that are available from any garden centre.

Check the ph of your run off it maybe your pH is out that will cause nutrient lock out

it looks like its lacking micro nutrients. sulphur and magnesium are possible and all macro nutrients are mobile in the plants which means deficiencies will show on the lower leaves first and most micros and trace elements are immobile so they’ll show up in the new growth. i’d add a tiny bit of grow to your feeding coupled with a bottle of micro. for specifically sulphur and magnesium defs you can hit it with epsom but i suggest still adding a micro bottle to your feeding regimen to avoid future deficiencies and problems.
