Advice on when to water 💦 (100% coco coir) I watered it around 10am yesterday until I saw some run off but not sure it was 10%. Not really sure how to tell and don’t want to drown her! Thanks in advance lovely people😊 it’s wet to the touch underneath and can drip when I push in

Feel free to check my diary 65% coco/35% perlite, and I water once a day. This is my first grow. It was twice daily when they were in tiny seedling bags and >90F. Coco is hard to overwater, and you will need to mix nutrients with each watering and check EC/PH. I use a large syringe to measure the volume of the run off and also measure the amount the initial volume of water. Hope that helps, best of luck!

If your seedling in a large pot and tend to have the pot staying wet for a long period of time you might benefit from a smaller pot next time and transplant when it’s a month old

It is your ph going in and coming out of the planter is what you want to keep an eye on. 5.8 in veg and 6.2 to 6.3 ph in flower. Keep that in proper values and your ec at proper values and your plants will do great.

I've not grown in coco but I understand from others that you need to water a whole lot more often than if growing in soil.... I'm going to hope someone with experience growing in coco answers your question but I THINK you need to water every day... Look for diaries growing in soil (you can filter those diaries on the home page) and take a look - you can also message anyone you find who is growing in coco and whose diaries you're impressed with and ask your question.... most are very happy to answer! Good luck!
