Flower trimming

String
Stringstarted grow question 3 years ago
I've got several lower branches that aren't stretching high enough to get any good light, at what point during flower is it ok to get out the scissors? I think I might need to do a lil leaf trimming in the lower canopy as well. Could/should this be done at the same time? Thanks

Hello My friend first of all completely ignore what the grower below me has said if you look at his profile he has harldy any likes and diaries nor any sponsers hes just trying to feed people bs to win the seeds anyway. let me give you some proper advice. My advice no not in the first few weeks of flower when she hits 20 days and you start to see bud sites then yes go ahead chop as much as you want off but in the first few weeks of flower is a very delicate time for a plant making the transition so wait until she hits 3 weeks and then cut off all the under growth that will be the best option for you my friend :) Best of luck :)

A partir del día 21 de flora puedes limpiar las zonas bajas, nosotros limpiamos sobre ese día no antes y después hasta el final sin tocar más. Un saludo!!

Yes it can be done and should be done to increase the size of your top buds. I would lolipop her remove everything below your first net and any shoots that dont make it past 1/3 the distance between the nets. After that i would let her recover 3-4 days before cleaning up any small bud growth that is 1/2 between the nets and below. Keep all leaves above the bottom net. the energy will be diverted to the top buds. Happy growing
