I clean off the lower half of all my plants in flower. I do this in weeks two and three in flower. First quarter week two second quarter week three.

High loganchan, I would reommend to defoliate the lowest 30% buds from your plant. Later on you can always still defoliate the buds that barely develop and stay to small. We want those top buds to get fat and juicy! Happy Growing! 😋

How much longer?I have 2 different phenos of auto AK. The one at the back (yellowing one) is much fatter. About 50% pistils curled, trichomes milky. How much longer do you reckon they will take? According to the breeder it would be 1-3 more weeks, I am planning to keep going for 2 weeks.

Not many trichomes, almost time to harvest This plant doesn't have nearly as many trichomes as my other of the same strain and age. I can see some with a magnifying glass but not with the naked eye. From the color of the trichomes I see it's almost time to harvest. Are there any last minute things I can or should do?

Trichomes cloudy VS clear Planning on waiting about 2 more weeks, but this being my first grow wouldn't mind some opinions on the cloudy VS clear ratio - I don't see any Amber yet but again I'm new. Also - I think this is a cool picture especially if you've imbibed recently. Make sure you zoom in!

How long until I should harvest my northern light?She's at day 50 now and her pistils are already getting quite orangey/brown (see diary), which seems rather early to me, also compared to other diaries of her strain. am i peaking to early or is the amount of trichomes this early in flower a good sign?my question is not problem related, rather than curiosity based. the girl in question has in my opinion, a lot of trichomes for day 32 of flower. fyi, i started counting days of flower by the first visible pistils during 12/12 schedule. is my abundance of tri's strictly genetic?
