Fat Banana - Auto (Slow growth?)

Hey guys, You see, this is actually my first strain that somehow didn't give up on me, I planted the seedling on the 20th of June and I'm rather surprised by how slowly it's growing. I usually keep her outside in a shade. Haven't used any nutrients so far... Any ideas?

Put her in sunlight! She needs sunlight to grow and function. Indirect light stunted the crap out of her. I can understand your reluctance to put it in direct sunlight, but trust me, that's what these plants need. To ease your mind, you can put it in a place where it will have shade during the hottest hours of the day, which is usually 1pm-3pm. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions, feel free to message me on here.

High Nickous, Light is food for plants and this girl did not get any food for that could not grow. Start over because she is an autoflower she will not grow anymore. And place her in direct sunlight or place a lamp above her if you want them to grow! Happy Growing! 😋

@GrowingGrannie Thanks for helping me ease the anxiety of failling again :) I have a couple more questions I'd like to ask just to be sure, though. My previous plant dried up even though she's been watered properly, I have a suspicion it might have been from too much direct sunlight. I'm quite scared of the same thing happening again. So is it really safe to put my girl outside? The temps. are around 87.8 degrees fahrenheit or 31°C (Not too windy where I live). Also does it really matter if I don't use any artificial lights? She's been growing for 3 weeks, isn't that too late for an autoflower to catch up to the standart height? Thanks for the answers! :)

Really low light! You should put more light for it. Maybe a 10W led would be enough, if it's close to it.

Hello bud, 😁, So @organoman is right the plant needs direct sunlight for best results you need about 18hrs and thats not possible outside. So what ever hours of light you can get you should optimise on it by putting the plant somewhere where there is sunlight for majority of the day. If your keeping it there for heat you might need to invest in a small heater and move the plant, the plant needs correct temp, light, water and nutrients, thats also probably why your previous attempts weren't successful. Its harder to provide more info because we dont know what kind of plant it is to say exactly what would be best. My gorilla zkittlez auto had same issue because of light untill i sorted it, now she is growing beautifully, Hope this helps, Happy growing mate!

First of all, DO start a diary on this little lady! It will help you in future grows to refer back and it will also help US help YOU when problems/questions arise. I have a couple of thoughts here... first, since she's been outside in the shade, she's now ready to be put into full sunshine... she's been "hardened off" to the UV rays the sun will give her and that will help her grow. Second, it's good you haven't given her nutes yet... autos don't LIKE nutes in their first week or two so don't give in to that temptation. Third, she's getting pretty much no light from that window... and autos can and do tolerate (LOVE) a light schedule of 18 on/ 6 off or 20 on / 4 off... so if possible, give her more light. I hope that fan isn't turned on - it doesn't need to be pointing directly at her right now - only enough to get SOME air movement around her which will help strengthen her main stem. You'll want more air flow as you get into flower but now they only need a little bit. And finally - I can only speak for myself but I'm ALWAYS worried about this time that my plants aren't growing much or are going to be small... We see these incredibly BIG plants others have grown and think ours will never reach that size... but they'll surprise you! Enjoy the journey - and good luck!

Sunlight = photosynthesis = energy = growth. Cannabis needs a minimum of 6 hours of direct sunlight on its leaves to grow properly, - reflected/ambient light will not work.
