Ok see the pic of Jen above, compare weeks one and two. She came out of the ground like this, expressing pale new growth. Began walking back the feed PH from 6.8ish to 6.0 with meh results. Possible genetic? Seen plants "grow out" of this before but she still at it. Thanks folks

genetics 100% play a part in plant coloring. new growth also tends to be a more pale color that then becomes darker as it ages. its not a nitrogen deficiency as that starts at the bottom of the plant and creeps to the top. so i think you are safe and as long as growth is still good she should be healthy.

I have one on my FB Black berry grow that has that lighter lime green color and I have followed a few other FB strains that show the same thing. I believe it could be a genetic or different phenotype which happens when growing from seed because each seed is genetically different. Only thing I can say is the one I have seems to be a bit hungrier than the rest of the plants and seems to want more Calcium. I noticed that the stems are rather thin walled at week 5. This usually a sign of needing to add a bit more calcium. I other words she's feeding a bit differently from the rest. Hope this helps.👍

You actually want a pH of 6.5 to 7 in veg and a pH of 6 to 6.5 in flowering in soil. That seems to work out for me. So if u had a 6.8 I would of brought it to 6.7 see how she like that for a while. Also genetics have a role not all plants are going to be same green color. And you could be experiencing a nutrient lockout from using all those nutrients from different manufacturer which they all put different ingredients and ratios.
