Leaves curling down and dry

My leaves are curling down and dry. I think I overwatered but I also recently cracked up my lights from 40% to 80% because like a rookie I had them only at 40% up until 3 days ago when I realized they stretched too far

High Breezybombaf, Yes you overwatered and because they have been stretching a lot the stem and benches need to get stronger to lift the leaves up towards the light. From now just give 5 % of the pot volume in water and only at the side of the pot. And do not give water till the top layer of the soil is completely dry! This was there is always enough water and oxygen available for the plants. Keep the fan blowing like this it will make the branches and main stem stronger and keep the light on 80% When you do this then these girls will be a lot stronger by next week. And then they can lift thier leaves up towards the light and start to focussing on growing! When you need help you can always send me a private message! Happy Growing! 😋

Hey Breezybombaf... unfortunately, no one really knows or is alerted to the fact that you've added a comment here... so what you need to do is pick an answer that you feel is the BEST answer to the question you've asked about your leaves. Then, if you have ANOTHER question, ask a NEW question and pick an answer to that... This isn't the type of page that is really good for back and forth discussion ... cheers!

My next question is should I give nutes or wait a few days to see if it's the light being sn issue... would nutes just add to my problem or is the lime green color okay? Seems like they're lime green as new growth but get darker... I'm leaning towards waiting at least a few days cuz I don't wanna stress them out more But on the other hand they're seeming a bit small for their age.

That's correct there is no reply and tags don't work, thank for the DM as now I know you replied back. As for dry amendments I will put them in the week I mixed them into the medium. EG germination week I will say I added "x" amount of 4-4-4/2-8-4 "Gaia green I'm guessing" into the medium. If you want to keep it inline with the web pages system divide the amounts added into L/Gal eg. If your pot if 1gal or 4L "rounded number" and lets say you added in 3 tea spoons it would look like this. 3tbsp = 15ml 4L=1gal / 15ml 15ml/gal or 3.75ml/L I do not do it like that. I put the max amount I added into the medium eg 5 tablespoons I will put 75ml Gaia Green 4-4-4/L. I ignore the fact it looks like a lot and I clarify in my diary what I mean. Compost teas will be a nice touch to this grow and keep up the beneficial microbes as they will be breaking down the raw materials into things the plants can use. I made my own LAB serum and I have a diary of it. Check it out, its great for soil. Given that its an auto and they feed less I would use 1/2 the suggest amount till it hits flower then go up to 1/3 or 75% of suggested. Good Luck!!

@m0use, I don't know if you'll see this because I'm not seeing a reply button lol! Thanks for the reply! Maybe it's wind burn then cuz I've had the fan on them like that the whole time so I will adjust those, thanks! As far as nutes I'm not sure that I understand how to calculate it for dry amendments. This is my first grow as well as first time using this app and I am guessing on what I've entered. What I did was made s "supersoil" with living soil and the coir and 25% worm castings. 10-15% perlite I put 1 tablespoons of mycorhize per gal of medium I put 3 tablespoons 4-4-4 per 1 gallon of medium and 1 tablespoon of 2-8-4 per gallon of medium I have not added any nutrients since they were planted... but wad planning to do a top dress next week I also plan to make compost tea for later on and I have some ph down on the way and a ph water tester so I can ph my water better from here on

They are looking normal to me. not overwatered in my oponion. Maybe a bit hungry, some plants get lime green on new growth and darken up as they age. In the video it looks like some of them are moving aorund more then others. If the fans pointed at them I would change it so the fan is directed at a wall or the lights, still moving air in the tent but not stressing the plants. With soil I find a PH of 6.4-6.8 is good. Your on the high side of that scale, May want to lower it a bit in veg to 6.5 to see if this helps yea out. Coconut coir is also a thief it it was not buffered. I will steal calcium and magnesium and release extra potassium and sodium ions into the medium. Be sure to be feeding some CaMg into the your regime given your medium is 45% coir. If you feeding your plants anything please update it into your journal and give a rundown of whats in the medium and how you are watering to help anyone give you better answers. Good Luck! ***disclaimer, multiple people are answering all questions as there is a contest called GOTM, when a user is selected as the answer they get a point.
