This week my 4 week plant has been sickly and grew very little. The second leaves began to curl and when I touched them, they felt very brittle. Why? What I am trying is to increase the humidity, and moving the light further away. Little nitrogen has been given.

I strongly advice to invest in a growtent, as temperatures are way too low, even with the heater. This has stunned your grow definitly. Humidity gets this low because of your heater. Its raising the temperature, but doesnt add moisture to the air. When air is warmer, it can contain more moisture, therefore, when you heat up, RH goes down, unless you add moisture to the air. And the low humidity is a problem, it should be above 40, preferably above 50. Therefore, invest in a growtent, it is much easier to manipulate temps and RH in a tent. And the plant is definitly experiencing heavy N toxicity, its darkgreen and curled down tips are clear signs and its looking bad. Flush her good or even consider transplant. Giving the recommended amount on the bottle in this phase is WAY too much. Start with 0,5 or even 0,25. Less is more. Probably your soil had already some nutes in it, hence you dont even have to add nutes the first few weeks, even when the soil is a light mix. I had/have a N excess while only feeding 0,5 of the recommended dose just twice and only 3 liter in total on bigger plants and in a light soil mix (see week 3 of nu diary). I havent add nutes since then and my plants are growing fast, but they are still showing signs of N toxicity. The low humidity makes things worse, as it causes the plant to damp more, therefor taking up more water and thus N, increasing toxic levels in the plant. She's not looking good, I'd invest in a growtent, study some basic guides and probably start over, but maybe you can save her, I have too little experience to make that call. Goodluck!

I think the light just isn't enough for 20 degree C. Why don't you try 18 inch distance from light. I think recommended distance is 45 cm (18 inches) any way. More importnatly, 10 liter bucket is too big and would contain too much water for the little girl. Your soil would have to drain well. The problem would go away once plant is bigger and has more roots. So, holding off on water is good. I would also recommend blending in a few pounds of Earth Worm Casting. This can detox the soil a bit. And there will not be a ne and hold off on other fertilizer after this for a few weeks. And if you can, try to get brown kelp extract. Put that with watering every two weeks. It stimulates the roots. Don't spray her with brown kelp extract at this point. And if you can get a hand on humic acid, it helps detox the soil some what. Good luck, I also like my CBD every now and then.

Your plant is suffering from being overwatered. This creates a nutrient lockout, nutrient lockout occurs when plants are unable to absorb the basic nutrients needed to remain healthy in this case it's nitrogen it's lacking. To fix the problem you need to give it less water when watering I would suggest 250 Ml and then as the plant grows go up to 500 Ml.

I see a few issues that could be causing your issues. 1: As you mentioned, the fan was probably too close. A fan will help the stem grow strong, but you do not want it to blow directly on the plant. You want it to blow above (or below) the plant but close enough that it makes the plant lightly sway in the breeze (very light rustling of the leaves). 2: Your pH is a little high, in my opinion, for a seedling in soil. I like to keep my pH closer to 5.5 - 6.0 when they are young based on what I've read over the years. 3: While the plants will grow in lower temps, 66F is going to slow the growth down, and the cooler temperature is also going to cause the humidity to be lower. Cold air cannot hold as much moisture as warm air so I would try to get the temperature up an additional 5 - 10 degrees in there. 4: Nitrogen toxicity. You mentioned you only used water that contained the recommended dosage of Advanced Nutrients. I have used their products since I started growing and you absolutely will have toxicity issues if you use their recommended dosage and feed too often. I personally use half of their recommended dosage and only feed once per week. My plants usually get nothing but water two times between each feeding. For example: Water on Monday, water on Thursday, nutrient feed on Saturday or Sunday.

Too less soil, too litle pot whig is actually a plastic cup and that genetics is a bit fusst apparently.please, putting seeds directly into main pot is the greatest idea ever.thats how nature works as well.if you dont know how to handle solo cups and how to water properly, ending will be like this.but still, you have chance to recover it.transplant into a bigger, final container, give 1 lt of pure water, then add very little amount of nutes.
