Tips turning into yellow

towelliestarted grow question 2 years ago
We started feeding the plants 10 days ago. Some leave tips started to turn yellow, we think is due nutrient burn. We decided to water them without ferts for once, to flush out the excess nutrients. Is it a good approach? Could it be from light stress? (See pic for reference)

Yes, of course this is a good approach if you think you've got a minor nute burn... and I would say it was a VERY minor nute problem - probably nothing I would have worried about but what you did was perfectly appropriate and won't harm anything. It's definitely NOT light stress... you would see the tops of the leaves being burned, not just the tips. The grow is doing very well but I might suggest you think about adding some calmag once a week ... Very, very nice looking grow!

Top leaves heavily laden with water, this creates a slightly wrinkled appearance, leaf shape and size are determined by light exposure and temperature. The rate of Photosynthesis is primarily determined by the leaf surface temperature. 59 to 86 with most being done at 86, be careful though as anything over 86 will become detrimental. Make your ambient temp 82 ish and lower your light until the top of the canopy hits 85. Keep an eye out for light induced stress (deformed leaves).
