It won't harm your seedling, but you can break it up with a stick if it is bothering you. It usually only occurs if the soil is constantly over wet.

Seems I have a fake troll account trying to cause shit by emulating me. They even went as far as to copy my profile picture and response to there troll lol. Someone sure is but hurt. m"Q"use is not @m0use Q vs 0. Q is fake like Q-anon Sorry for their rude comments on your question. I have no idea who they are or why they are doing this. Please hit complain and report this to Growdiaries. The real m0use profile is 2+ years old in age and has a higher rank. It's got the gold emblem on it, easy way to tell. Cheers,

Please click on the grower's name that is answering your question to see their profile. There are fake accounts being created to look EXACTLY like real accounts - but they're easily identified by doing this.

Green algae or moss on the soil surface is generally not harmful to seedlings. Some sources say the presence of algae on the top of soil reduces important gas exchanges across the soil surface, and therefore may hinder the plant's root growth ***disclaimer, multiple people are getting right on my tits by answering all questions as there is a contest called GOTM, when a user is selected as the answer they get a point. Please see the contest page for information regarding the details: growdiaries.com/giveaways/GotM-August-2022 Surely they must know they can't, it's just for me and my moronic friends! Please note, in case you think nobody gives a shit, when you reply to anything on the questions part of Growdiaries website, no one will be notified of this. Not even if you use a "@" tag in their name. Best to reach out to them in DM using your inbox, it can be found in the bottom right hand corner of the site. It's the small paper airplane button, it will be highlighted green if you have new messages, message me any time you need someone to type a question into google and paste the answer dumbass now vote my answer, right now***
