Ozone can work to help remove odors. The problem is you need a lot of it considering the constant stream of air an exhaust fan produces. So, you need a good size ozone generator. When you look at the cost of a properly sized ozone generator it is better to just use a carbon filter. I have found that the level of ozone required to destroy odors is very uncomfortable (burns your eyes, makes your nose run like mad...) so you wouldn't want to exhaust into your house.

I would not if you are exhausting back into a living environment. Ozone is an extreme oxidant and not meant to be at lower attitudes. Causes a lot of issues long term when not handled properly. I would recommend getting a carbon filter or the beads things that eat up odours, they are some sort of Gel bead with chemicals in them. Good Luck!
