Should I switch to well water?

I use tap water. For our normal flower/vegetable garden we use well water. I measured the EC/PPM of both. Tap: 0.5 mS/cm (=320 ppm), we live in an area with soft tapwater according to Water Agency (11°F-13°F max) Well: 0.32 (=205 ppm) -> how do I interpret this for well water?

I use well water myself,,,and your ppm is less with your well, less dissolved solids, usually is better, my humble opinion

Never take grow advice from stoners. You need to know the analysis of the water to make any sense of the tds. Contact the water agency to know whats in your water.

The PPM is lower for well water. Does this mean I have to add CalMag? But it could contain more iron or other stuff?
