flushing for harvest is hands-down a figment of the community's imagination. Even so, if you still wish to do it... that plant is nowhere near 2 weeks from being done. It's going to be nerve-wracking gaining experience as to when to harvest and predicting timing of it, but it'll get easier. Use more than one metric to determine when. This will keep you more consistent. Trihome coloration (need 30-60x magnification to see), pistil coloration and density of buds. Each can vary slightly from plant to plant as far as what it specifically means. So, use all three and hedge your bests. A google search can give you some ideas of what to look for. Experiment with when you harvest... don't rely on others' reporting. Try early, middle and late to learn your own preference. You can withold water, but it won't have much impact on drying times unless it has wilted and died before harvest. Then you have a potential problem of it rotting on the stem. Don't worry about dry times. You just spent how many months growing this thing. 1-2 days longer drying should not be a concern. A slower dry is a better result, in general anyway. Unless the plant is dying, it'll maintain roughly the same water content. Trying to time when the water runs out and it wilts/dies vs when to harvest is a complication not worth the effort. A super fast dry always results in trash weed. Take a nug and dry it one wy or another in a couple days or less and you will feel what i mean... touching buds (even feels different), your lungs (more agitation) and your exhale ("green" taste).

To flush or not to flush seems to always be the Question lol Here’s my take on it I give Straight water Phd to 6.0 the last 2 weeks. Why I’ve chosen this method not sure I can give you any other reason besides it’s just how I grow and I feel it’s a became a end of grow ritual for myself and plant as well hope this helps and happy Harvesting Fam 👏

I will say that Creepy_Steve has said it all... but I just wanted to pop in here to tell you NOT to deny your plant water for the last 2 weeks! I thought I could get away with it for 1 week on a grow and all that did for me was to give me a dead, dried up plant that wasn't harvestable.... Keep giving it water....

It is not close to being finished yet, it is not yet time to prepare for harvest. Your plant is only 4 weeks into flower, still developing a lot more bud and not nearing maturing for some time. I would expect it to still take 5-6 weeks, maybe even longer since you grow outdoors which often takes a little longer than the usual guidelines based on controlled indoor grows with intense consistent lights and stable environment. Also I would not suggest not watering for 2 weeks, your plant will dry to crisp and die in that time. Fast drying in general is not really seen as a good thing, longer and slower dry preserves all the good stuff in your plant better, drying too fast can lower levels of THC, destroy terpenes etc. If you choose to want minimal moisture in your plant at harvest due to humidity control and mold concerns, 2-4 days without watering pre-chop is enough - basically just harvest when it would naturally be the next time to water the plant or max a day after. Just stay patient and don't try to take shortcuts, the result will be worth it 😊

Hi there By the looks of it she still got quite a bit of growing to do.. you want to check the trichomes with a jewellers loupe/magnifying glass and start flushing when there cloudy and started to turn amber, Regarding drying faster .. when it is time to harvest just dont water for the last 48hrs and it will be fairly dry when you cut it down Best of luck 🌱

You don't want to harvest until all your trichomes are at Least cloudy. You don't want to deny them water the last two weeks. it could kill the plant or reduce yield. Both things are counterproductive. I hope this helps.
