After drying for 8 days in a 60% humidity environment, I began trimming my buds when I noticed that it contained an unusual amount of orange pistils, as you can see in the picture. Is this a bad sign?

8 days is a very quick dry, which could have resulted in the hairs being darker. But also some strains naturally look like this✌️

Looks fine although a little bit "airy" I think you could've grown it longer until the buds become more dense and compact
It could be the phenotype but that looks like something I would take as a test nugget at 7 weeks

Das einzig Negative was ich sehe ist, dass Du die Buds ohne Handschuhe anfasst. Ansonsten super Trimm und leckere Aussichten.

No - more pistils = smaller calyxes in greater numbers.
Plants with large calyxes have fewer pistils.

Ok I’m gonna just play devils advocate here. Something to consider.. but ultimately trichs maturity is best indicator, AND some phenos are just hairy.
But I personally prefer not to see this.. I want those bracts to have engulfed the stigmas more. Can be a sign you pulled to early, but again some varieties are just gonna be like this.
You’ll know soon enough when you smoke it how it hits.. just my 2 cents

Weed after pgr feeds go hairy ;)
But , at same time all strains are different, so some will be more chunky, others hairy, third crystaly and so on ...
My personal view - harvested a bit too early, bud didnt fat up, pistils didnt shrink in.
Nothing to worry.

Chopped it !Well, after 63 days at 12/12, I put them into 48+ hours of Darkeness...Chopped and hung in my tent, 74°F, air exchanged 6 times per minute. Hung for 14 days. The Manifold/HST plant, Sugar Rush(Indica), made 4+ oz of trimmed bud. Still have the White Hot Guava(Sativa) to clean.Week 7

Weird growth by bud sites/pistilsI have some weird leaf/pistil things growing on some areas. My girls have developed these growths at the top (and sides) of the buds.

My noob logic tells me ‘buds are getting bigger = all good’.

How much time usually it takes for your autos to get from crystal to cloudy or mostly cloudy to amber etc..

partial harvest? higher buds almost ready, lower buds not ready. when to harvest first buds?the"highter buds" seem already quite finished, brown pistils and very milky trichomes. i want a energetic high so milky trichomes, but they are very small, so i want to let them grow as possible. how long can i wait until they turn amber? will they grow more? and partial harvest?5y
