unexp w coco, when to give more water?

how do i know when to give my plant more water? theres one i have that i do not currently have a diary for and ive mixed coco, soil and perlite for it (abt 45/35/20, in 11L pot, didnt exactly measure but had to use a bit more coco than soil) and im not experienced with coco.

When you see that the top of you soil mix is lighter colour and the top layer is geting dry but not 100% dry but about 50%

please look at my seed 3 days after germination and tell me if she is a gonermy germination pot fell while being moved. one seed got out but it wasn't rooted yet, I put it back in. do you think she will be okey or do I germinate another one?
