What happened to my seedling?

Hi anybody know what happened to my gg4 seedling? and how I can fix/prevent the problem? The stem is very weak, all my other plants in same conditions are looking healthy. Thx

That is damping off. It's a fungus that attacks the stem and it caves in. Most seedlings don't survive this, but if you support it before it falls over there is a small chance it can recover. It is often from the topsoil being too moist or temps getting too high or a combination. Any anti-fungal powder or spray before planting can help and let the topsoil dry and dont water right on the stem.

There is nothing you can do to "fix this".........once it happens, it usually is terminal.

Yes, "damping off"........generally because soil is too wet for too long.

too humid, cover with soil asap. by look 50% of time she will die even if you cover that spot and do not water for 5 days at least ( if its soil ) root system gets no oxygen, she is dying, try to save, but chances low.

It's dead. Let that be a lesson for you. Never touch water to a young seedlings stem at the soil line. Always water around it, never on it. The fungus is in your soil and the seedlings stem is very tender and vulnerable to this fungus.
