100% rot, cut out the effected stuff and wash in peroxide the stuff that looks good still. will help kill off the remaining spores. won't be 100% clean but will be usable for edibles. Good Luck!

Yes it is rot. The spores are in everything. It is not safe to consume. Clean everything.

Yep that is rot. turn off all fans( to reduce spread). carefully remove the infected sections PLUS 1-2" above and below the infected section. You can't see "New" rot that is starting. After that I would consider harvesting and doing a "bud wash" with what is left. I would do a wet trim and when drying keep a close eye on the buds as the rot can start on drying buds as well. Especially if your drying environment is 60% RH or higher. This is the tricky part. you want a RH of 50-60 to slow the drying process and have a smooth smoke( the longer the dry the better the cure), But since you have rot you might want to lower the humidity to avoid getting more rot. After drying for 3 days they should of lost enough moisture to bring humidity back up and slow the drying process.. Sorry for you loss...

Hey Growmie, There is no question in my mind this is bud rot, and unfortunately, once your plant has bud rot, there's no way to get rid of it, you have to discard the infected parts of the plant. I would go ahead and do what you were going to do and cut her down before the infection spreads.

I'm sorry for this bad news... it seems to be just that... Try pull the bud leaves, if they come off without force, the flower is rotten
