BossHogg6 This grow contains Nirvana B52 and Durbin Poison. In the process of getting a new grow tent, so the setup will change. The last grow in this box had Blue Mystic, and it turned out fine but need a taller space and better lights.

BossHogg6 Just wrapped up week 2. I need to transplant to the new grow space before the roots become too much to pull the net pot out. The Durbin Poison plant is shorter, but it sprouted a day or two later than the B52. I had to add the toothpicks to train the plant to grow straight up. Added hydroguard for the roots this week as a precaution.

BossHogg6 This will be the last week in the small cabinet. I have a new tent to move them over to along with new lights. They managed to survive the power outage and lower than normal tents after the "winter storm" power outage. New updates were made to week 3, given the circumstance.

BossHogg6 The plant and roots have adjusted to the transfer over to the new system. They aren't back to where they were, but not too far off. Temperature and humidity are now be controlled by AC Infinity CLOUDLINE T4, which was added a few days ago. Given the need to complete water changes, I'll stick with SoG although ScrOG seems enticing at the moment (still looking at options for setup). I'll look at topping in the next couple of weeks.

BossHogg6 They're still looking good. I topped both of them after taking the pictures. Previously, I mentioned doing the ScrOG, but I'll wait until I can get some add-ons that will work with the need to top and switch out the water. I'll switch to the 12-12 cycle later this week, after a 36-hour dark period. I'm also going to add some CO2 bags to this grow, this week.
I thinking I have a phosphorus or potassium deficiency. Either way, looking for recommendations on clearing this up. It's on the Durban Poison plant. The 3rd pic is from B52, and isn't as bad
BossHogg6 Just changed the water out and added nutes. The light cycle is in its 36-hour dark period before the switch to 12-12. Dropped the water down from about 4.5 gallons to 2 gallons and upped the nutes from 2ml to 4ml. Previously, I had 2ml with ~4.5gal of water when it should be 2ml/gal. I'm still waiting for the CO2 I ordered last week to come in. I wanted to add it by this time, but oh well can't wait and would be the first time I added CO2 to my grow anyway.

BossHogg6 I dropped the nutes from 4ml to 3ml and the yellow leaves were trimmed down. I added water in week 9 but didn't update the journal.
It's been getting warmer and humidity has been rising. A dehumidifier was added last week to the outside room. I changed the system to have a lower humidity setting for the flower phase.

BossHogg6 The flowering is starting. I believe the yellowing and brown spots came from the roots starting to suck up more water than the previous weeks. The B52 water level was really low, but the Durban Poison (DP) was not as low, but still had bigger issues with the leaves. In previous weeks, the water level lasted for the full week and I was only doing a full water change every two weeks. I'll need to check the levels mid-week.
I believe the yellowing and brown spots came from the roots starting to suck up more water than the previous weeks. Do you agree that the Durban Poison had some nutrient deficiencies?
yes, it is adef, plant needed much energy for tranistion to flower / stretch... and shhe cannibalised herself
next time
i got to look into the diary for more information
BossHogg6 I trimmed off some of the yellow and cut the dead leaves off. The roots on the DB aren't as white as the one on the B52, so added 4tsp of the hydro-guard. Also, I added an additional tsp of nutrients to taken it from 3-4 for both plants. Hopfully, this improves the flowering and reduces the stress.

BossHogg6 My math on the nutes had been off, so should start resolving this week. For this change, I used 2gl of RO water per plant and introduced some cal/mag to level things off. This is also the first week of using big bud and bud candy. I'll only use the big bud for this week since it's supposed to be for the first 4 weeks of flower and this is week 4. Trimmed off a few bad leaves (after the pics) but not all so the pants wouldn't stress. The system has been adjusted to keep temps below 80 and humidity under 45%.

BossHogg6 It looks like issues are clearing up. Will do another week of the added cal/mag to help aid with improving all overall health. B52 is starting to get some red rust-colored hairs. I have a de-humidifier coming to add to the inside of the tent to bring down the humidity some more. The one sitting on the outside isn't bringing it down to the 40s, since the room is too open.

BossHogg6 Added a small dehumidifier to the tent, but it didn't help as much, so I placed the one that was outside the tent inside. This brought the humidity down but added a little extra heat from air blowing out, so the temp fluctuates higher than 80 (occasionally 85). Durban Poison starting to lean some. I added two long metal plant stakes to bring it back. Calmag was added during the last two weeks, so stopped it this week. WIll continue to monitor, but it looks like it recovered.

BossHogg6 The plants ended up having a gangsta lean on the branches. Most pictures are from a couple of days ago, but now I have plant YoYos holding them up. I'll probably go into the 1-week flush starting the water change this coming Saturday. RO water will be used for the flushing period. Trichomes are cloudy, but also trying to avoid harvesting too early and airy buds. The water is warmer than it should be as well.
BossHogg6 I started flushing (RO water) a little earlier than I wanted. My concern is around the limbs/branches holding up during too many more water changes. The plant yoyos work fine, but I have to remove them to change the water, then they fall over (some hard) with the branch close to snapping.
Is this salvageable? I was harvesting today, and one branch had previously snapped, so it's dryer than it should be. Wondering if I should put in a plastic bag.
Hey mate, start the curing process. Like spider said, it's not a great idea to use plastic. Use glass if you can. Dont forget to get your boveda 62% humidity pack and burp the jar a few times a day.
Hope this helps 🙂
Grow took a little longer than expected. I believe it was due to grower error with not providing enough nutrients early on for adequate trichome development. The goal was to get about 50% amber trichomes. B52 was originally chosen for the medical benefits, specifically for migraines. I made honey for some to use while drinking tea.

BossHogg6 Enjoyed growing this strain and will do another round. The drying time took about 7-10 days, and I was out of town for the first 5 days. I was able to hang dry this along with the Durban Poison in a closet that wasn't in use in the guest bedroom. Added a fan and monitored the temp, there weren't any issues.

I was able to hang dry this along with the B52 in a closet that wasn't in use in the guest bedroom. Added a fan and monitored the temp, there weren't any issues. It didn't dry as quickly as the B52, so I might have left it longer than needed.
ok. your feeding was from week 4 on on the low side,,, so it is like i said, she canniblised herself
and i found the brand of your light the P-2000 of viparspectra
so your light distance is quite close ( or did you dimm them down =? )
iam wondering why they still grow so open , with that strong light.
but it would be apart of the issue too, because to me the look burned from above and underfed
so find the balance in your grow , and plants will drive
@Mrs_Larimar, Thanks...None of the yellowing and browning had been on the top, but was on the lower leaves. I was watching the tops for light burn. They were dimmed down during the grow stage, then slowed dialed up to 100% after the flip to flower.
