When to flush using pistils

This is my first grow and I don’t have the much equipment. With that being said I feel like I’m close to harvest and I want to flush before. I don’t have a magnifier I look at the Trichomes so I want to go off the pistils . How much of the bud should have colored pistils?

When about 85 percent of the pistils turn brown or red then you will be ready to start a 1 to two week flush depending upon your substrate. It will happen at the end of bulking. So looking at it now you have about 3 to 4 weeks left. Can always buy a jeweler's loupe. They are a few bucks and provide 30x and 60x magnification. Good luck and happy growing 🌱🌱🌱

Trichomes don’t matureI’m flushing slowly, has been almost two week now. Just water with PH between 6.5 and 6.8. The plant seems ready, pistils are brown for 70%, yellow leaves are dropping off, but I don’t get why trichomes are still transparent, they aged slowly compared to the rest. Is it normal?

Main versus secondary maturingThis secondary lower buds seem to be maturing faster than the main colas. The pistils are turning dark faster on the lower than the upper. Not by much, but it's noticeable. Maybe a week or so? BUT, should I take the secondary buds first and leave the main colas to mature more?

These have been grown in 91 degree heat for their entire time growing. I can't change that the heat killed off some trichomes. But what is your opinion on the doneness of the trichomes that are there? If the pics are not clear enough I can use my real camera versus my phone. THX

Over 10 years of growing and somehow I've ended up with ditch weed ? quite disappointing temps got a bit high and an overfeed did occur which was sorted quickly yet no thc development on buds hardly any trichomes is it possible I just got a bad seed ? this is the worst I've done.

Shoukd i Harvest the Mimosa Auto?Hi! I don't know when to harvest the Minosa Auto. On the Website of RQS it is written that after 10 Week the plant is ready to harvest. Some of the older leaves shown a high amount of amber trichomes. But the Buds dont't look like at their maximum of growth.

Different Phenotypes?2 plants from the same seed type purchased together. They look really different. I thought the one with the swollen calyxes was hermed, but research said otherwise. But one has trichomes and decent smell while the other has faint smell and no trichomes to speak of. Thoughts?
