The temperature of my plants while the light is on is about 20ºC, but once the light turns off, it drops to about 12ºC. Could this pose any problems for the plants?? So far, they look good!!
Yes, this will definitely create problems in growth. cold slows or stops growth. and there is nothing good for the roots. when the light is off, the temperature should be at least 17-18 degrees, so that the plant does not suffer stress.
There are many devices for determining the temperature in the grow box. they are not expensive and compact.
Every cultivar is different, some will handle cold better then others. Going that low can slow or stop growth. Plants are stronger in the vegetation stage. You need to try and hot better numbers for flowering or your buds won’t develop correctly
This problem was my first big problem also under 15 degrees the plant stop growing next time try autoflowers wenn winter comes u can put them under 24 hours of Light or 20/4
Temperatures below 16 will hinder the growth. It will stunt them as well as cause nutrient update issues. No idea how much it will affect the final result.
