Brown spots, PH in run-off is in the high end (6.5~)

I see some brown spots on my leaves. I thought it was Calcium Deficiency caused by too low PH so I gave them PH 6.5~ with 30% run-off, and run-off shows at least the same PH so I think it is not too low PH, could it be caused by something else? Maybe too high PH or light-stress?

I think its all caused by light stress. Plant is having issues with nutrients because the light is to strong. Raise it up to 50 cm and keep your feed as is. The small twisty growth at the bud sites and the serrated edges curling up are both signs of heat/light stress. Happy Growing.

Hey, I would really invest in a proper ph pen and an ec from Milwaukee or blue lab. Making decision based on inaccurate data is always very difficult.

Looks a bit thirsty to me, I would try and water them a bit more. I also read that PH as 7-8 not 6.3 like in your diary. Might want to lower it a bit more given your grown in coir and perlite. monitor runoff for EC and PH and adjust as needed. If spots continue reevaluate from there. should fix the other stuff first as it maybe the source of the issue. Good Luck!

Hey Pal. See the sides of your leafs. The edges are all sticking up. This is caused by too much N. And everything else is nothing more than a by product of been locked out by excess N. Get your NPK ratios sorted. And everything else will fall in place. Good luck.

Oh, and btw... the leaves whose edges are curling up - that's an indication the temps are too high... if you can, bring it down into the 70s... :-D

Well, I don't think it's manganese... that's a pretty rare deficiency to have quite honestly... Poor girl... she's really been through the wringer, hasn't she?! Let's get back to neutral here... give her a good, solid flush - 15 gallons of water that's been ph'd to 6.2 through her and let her dry out... when she's dried out, give her nutes again but at 1/2 strength and add in some calmag (1tsp will do). You should also add in a PK booster (I use General Hydroponics KoolBloom liquid and love it) - again, just 1 tsp. You can resume your nutes at the same levels that you're giving now but after that first feed. And I would definitely always include the calmag and the PK boost.. Personally, this is looking like a phosphorus deficiency so the PK will be extra important. And try your best to keep the pH at 6.2 - that's the ideal pH for all nutrients to be available to the plant. Good luck! Going to keep tabs on this grow!
