CO2 issues

Just purchased a 4x4 tent ( haven't set it up yet ) and besides using a co2 tank, what is a more affordable method to provide adequate amount to be effective enough for the area? Not setting up until after the holidays, just planning ahead. Thanks in advance.

Unless you’ve been growing for quite some time and maxed out all other variables efficiently .. don’t worry about co2 right now

Small correction on Nugsery's previous answer they deleted. Air is mostly 78 percent ish nitrogen N2, not "80% carbon dioxide CO2", if it was we would all be in a world of hurt Small read on fun facts about air. https://climate.nasa.gov/news/2491/10-interesting-things-about-air/ and a pie graph as pies are tasty and graphs are fun https://scied.ucar.edu/sites/default/files/styles/extra_large/public/media/images/3d_gases_in_atmosphere_pie_chart_0.png?itok=8DtwYtWf Cheers,

Oh shoot.... I was really interested in reading Nugsery's answer talking about air being mostly (78%-ish) nitrogen... must have deleted that one! LOL! And then gone to some site and copied some blahblahblah about using CO2... oh dear! I can't answer your question, unfortunately, because I don't use CO2 at all because improper use/set up can be highly toxic and may even kill ... But I was curious about your question and so ducked in here... Good luck!

The easy way many small growers add CO2 to their grow room is by hanging slow-release CO2 bags or bottles. They constantly produce CO2 over several days. A rule of thumb for an enclosed space is one co2 bag per 4x4 area or per 4x4 grow tent.

I do not use CO2 in my grow room as it is not sealed, You can use dry ice or some fungal bags to release more CO2 but if the tent has a extractor fan in it its all a waist as it vents out. In good news indoor air is higher in CO2 then outdoors and that helps the plants out, CO2 is also not need unless your lighting is super powerful and you got a lot of other factors on point for your grow. Save your self some money and focus on other factors before worrying about CO2. We will not be notified of any reply in the questions part of the website, if you need to reach out with other information use your DM "direct mailbox" in the bottom right hand corner of the page. it looks like a little paper airplane icon. Best Of Luck!
