Wow, those are HUGE fan leaves! And yes, now is the perfect time for some selective defoliation... you might want to look at this article which I find VERY helpful when it comes to this topic... https://www.growweedeasy.com/nebulas-super-simple-3-step-defoliation-tutorial
As for watering, I never adhere to such a strict schedule - I let the plant tell me when she needs something and how much she needs... You need to let the pot dry out completely and the best way to tell that is to lift it up - you'll be able to tell if there's any moisture in it at all and if there is, wait another day.... if it's super lightweight, you'll know she needs something. And when you water, make sure you're getting at least 20% runoff from the bottom of the pot... it's a good way to kind of keep excess nutes and salts from building up and causing problems..
I don't see that you're giving any nutes? At this point, you're going to want to be giving them some good bloom nutes and, if you've been giving grow nutes, cutting back on the nitrogen-heavy stuff. Plants in flower need SOME nitrogen in early flower but not a ton...
As for the leaf tips that are turning down, this can be caused by one of three things - under-watering (not your problem), over-watering (which is the state of being constantly wet) or a nitrogen toxicity... Since there's no information about the nutes you're giving, I can't advise you as to what is causing this but you'll be able to figure it out based on that information and you should be able to figure out what to do about it... if not, come on back and ask - but make it a new question since no one is alerted, even if tagged, to the fact you've added more information in a comment here....
Good luck!
