When should i start flushing my dwc hydro bucket?

Auto Mazar Extra. 5 weeks into flowering. When should i start replacing the bucket with just ph'd water? Is a flush even necessary?

Hello. I flush and will always flush. I think it helps despite the report. There is a fertilizer company that did a flushing study ( they could make millions if they could get you to stop flushing) and this study says there is no difference between flushing and not flushing. I quote Ed Rosenthal: Plants react quickly to (the flush) this sudden change in the environment, by focusing on maturation of flowers rather that continued production of flowers. Flushing is not necessary, if you want to you can give it plain water for the last week. Check the breeders flowering time, most are typically around 60-70 days so i'd say you have at least 3 weeks left, but keep and eye on the trichomes as that is the ONLY accurate way to tell exactly when its time to harvest, look for 10-20% amber. How early do you normally start feeding? Currently growing only autos. Have had great results with my grows so far, but always room for inprovement.I typically wait 4-6 weeks before I start adding any sort of nutrients as I used Fox Farms Happy Frog for my grows.
