Some of my auto flowers are turning hermaphrodite ! What is the best way to treat this ? Eliminate the plant or just throw away the male flowers?

a nanner or 3, just tweeze them out and keep close watch... however, what you have a is a fully functional pollen sac growing at a preflower location... this is either a real herm or simply a male plant, which wouldn't be possible if an autoflower without contamination or mixing up seeds etc. i would tear it down and throw it out... you could be a bit patient, pluck all the sacks and give it a few more days to show you how prevalent it is... maybe it was some light leak that caused it in a specific location on plant, or maybe it's gonna keep poppin a bunch of male sex organs... time will tell, but i don't think your odds are good. a full pollen sac can release a ton of pollen. it's got a full complement of male parts. on the other hand a nanner (or anther) you see in buds sometimes are less potent. these are what 'plop' out of a pollen sac. If you see any that look nearly fully developed, don't hesitate to kill those plans off now as opposed to later. this stuff doesn't grow to completion overnight and takes time before they start releasing pollen.

Hi, you can cut the pollen sacs with your fingers when you see them appears, so you prevent them to develop and pollinate your plants. Meet an eye on the plants and do it every time you see a pollen sacs. Eventually if they are too much and to close to your buds you have to give up and cut them. Meanwhile look for the cause and eliminate it.

Scrap it asap trying to remove the balls especially if you have other plants in the area is to risky especially when electric cost is alot if you remove and miss even 1 then you will be full of useless hermie seeds

And btw... seeds from a hermaphrodite plant will only produce hermaphrodites... you would have to use those pollen sacs to pollinate a female to get any worthwhile seeds...

CAREFULLY remove those little balls so that you do not burst them... and inspect your plant for others as well as nanners... Since you don't have a diary for this grow and we don't know how old it is, it will be important for YOU to determine whether or not to get rid of the plant... if you're near harvest and even one of these male parts "explodes," it will pollinate your entire crop. Good luck! Of the three questions you've raised today, THIS is the one that should concern you!
