Hermie or odd growth?

Day12 of flower with a couple female preflowers. This pheno has several fan-leaves growing from where the preflowers should be. These growths look scarily close to male preflowers.

I would agree that is some funky growth, It almost looks like you have a male ball with tiny leaves growing on the edges of it. I would keep a close eye on them. Fingers crossed you see a white hair pop out of them signaling they are female.
But with the short stem behind the ball it makes me think male. The last pic where there is no stem looks female without a hair.

Sad to say, but those are male flowers forming, no ifs, buts or maybes about it.

Iâm on the fence. Sometimes youâll have plants that grow a baby node like a sucker kinda there after an established node.. but Iâm not sure.
Make things easy and pop a few open carefully and inspect the inside. Nanners are pretty obvious to see if theyâre inside there.

Seems to be a male to me. Thatâs no big deal as long as you get it out soon to prevent contamination. Iâve heard of people plucking the balls off and reversing to female? Kinda like these kids do now a daysâŠ

Many of my attempts don't make it past seedling.What could be the problem? Done 3 grows now. Each time germinated several seeds. I can almost always get a tap root but when I plant, many never sprout and those that do sprout, half remain small and never grow past 2 little leaves. I'm always growing autos.

When to start my flowering cycle?I am wondering when to start the 12/12 flowering period? Almost 6 weeks in now, I was thinking no longer than 8 weeks of vegetation.

Slow first 4 weeksMy two Green Gelato Auto are struggling in the firs 4 weeks. Very slow growth, leaves are going pale and yellow with some strange spots. I go easy on water (6.4 ph), adding some BioGrow in the last week. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks!
