In hydroponics, your EC and your pH are going to be the only things that you really need to pay attention to and react to.... and your EC, even for a photoperiod is WAY too high (and your plant is trying to tell you that)... even if the plant was a week or two away from harvest.
When you say you're following recommended nutrient dosages does that mean you're giving the recommended dose in EACH GALLON of your system? Because if you are (and that's the only way I can see you getting that EC reading), that's not what should be happening... I'm growing an autoflower in DWC - my bucket has about 3.5 gallons of water in it... but I only add my nutes as if I was only giving them a gallon of water... it's rather hard to explain, maybe... So, to make it easier, rely on your EC readings... at this point, the EC even for a photoperiod shouldn't be more than 1.1 or 1.2 ... I tried, last night, to raise the EC for my girls to 0.8 and within 2 hours, their leaves were sagging and they were NOT happy... so I took out about 1/2 gallon from them and replaced it with clean pH'd water which dropped the EC back down to where they were (0.7) and again, within an hour, they were completely happy again... You're just feeding them too much.
Good luck...
