Plain water between a few feeds? Smaller doses? (To prevent nutrient burn)

So I was wondering (medium is light-mix from Plagron): I've been feeding a full dose of nutes every watering up until now. Would ya'll recommend giving plain water in between every few feeds, or dosing down to be cautious? I don't want to be too late... That happened last grow.

Suerte.

Giving nutes with every watering is guaranteed to give you nute burn and lockout of essential nutrients. You would only feed every watering if you grew in coco, certainly not in soil. From the beginning, you should establish a routine of water/feed/water/feed... some even do water/water/feed/water/water/feed. It's much easier to treat a deficiency (caused by not giving enough) than it is a toxicity (which will also lead to deficiencies)... Good luck...

I have for the last 30+ years used a schedule of plain water/plain water/feed/plain water/plain water/feed when growing in soil. I also never use full strength nutrients and hover between half strength and three quarters strength. Remember too, it is very easy to rescue a slightly under fed plant, but very, very hard to rescue a burned and over fed plant!
