Growth?

Hi all, what would cause slow sideward trajectory? My purple lemonade is 5 weeks, it’s 32cm high, yet it’s barely growing outwards. Is this normal at this stage? (Very first grow) (photos) 4weeks and 5 weeks

Sorry, but i mean that all is bad. Firstime you need some educate and than you can grow some big flowers.

I'm going to venture a guess and say you're light is pretty high above the plant if so bring the light or plant to withing 16 to 18 inch of the light and if you can turn down the intensity to about 50 percent for a few days and then slowly adjust the intensity if you can't just turn it up full and lower the plants a couple inches or raise the light
I good app for PPFD is tent buddy, it had a PPFD and DLI calculator also has a VPD calculator as well, great app just keep those numbers in the parameters and Bob's your uncle

the stretching is due to the lack of light just like the lack of side branches
I don't know how your watering is, but remember to let the soil dry out well before watering again
last thing, are you giving them something to eat?

Training techniques can improve branching, LST, HST. Some lights can encourage stretching. The light I have noticed the tightest internode distances with so far are dual spectrum HPS.

Weak and too long stalk?Stalk looks to be very thin and weak. The head (leafs) seems to be kind of too heavy for the plant. It was very long too but I added some more soil for more stability.
There was a short time without sun because I was not at home.
It doesn't looks like other people's plants.

When to harvest?I’m not sure when to harvest? The buds don’t seems to be getting any bigger. It’s my first grow. I’m starting to get yellowing leaves at the bottom of my plants, the buds are getting frost, but under a microscope the trichomes are all clear there’s no trace of orange.

Will I run out of space?Currently in a 25 gallon, using Gaia Green. 24 inches above the pot rn after the 1st layer of trellis, so I have 18-24 inches left of space left.should I tuck the branches under the second layer of trellis too or just let it grow through?I will tie light to top of tent too.

Why does this take so long ?I have three Thai landrace Mekong sativas from Ace Seeds (you can check my diary). Is it normal for them to take this long? I'm in week 16, and there's still no sign of trichomes. One of them is only in the early flowering stage. It seems really weird.
