Blackberry Kush Harvest

Hello Growing Community, Is the Blackberry Kush ready to harvest or should I wait until week 12? There are some random amber trichomes, but not at 20% yet, I'm looking for a relaxing effect. If so my plan would to let her sit in the dark for 1-2 days, then chop. Thank you!

Depends on what you want but if you want body relaxation you want to wait for more amber usually. Also, the 48 hours of darkness thing is a grower's myth, cannabis can only metabolize sugars into cannabinoids during photosynthesis. No light = no photosynthesis = no terp or thc production. Scientifically there is no proven benefit to 48 hours dark besides your tent maybe smelling more than before because they've been sitting in the dark for so long left alone lol.

@UnkleSkunk, Thank you for the response. I'm going to hold off until more amber trichomes and I'll look out for the hermaphrodite piece as this is something I didn't consider. I appreciate your guidance. Thanks!

@Spuwuky, Thank you for the time answering my question, I'll hold off until I get more amber trichomes. As for the darkness piece, it is good to hear from the community more about that because when you read online you find so much information it is confusing. So far the consensus on here is no dark period before chop and that what I will go with. Thank you!

They are not even close to chopping yet you only been Flowering 6 weeks they need at least 4 more weeks maybe more don't believe the time on the write up its never correct and Flowering time is usually between 9 and 13 weeks just Flowering and not included in the 2 weeks stretch gappy growing but time is what they need

the cutting week is up to you, do you think it's ready to cut.. and yes, 1/2 days of darkness are fine. anyway, the more amber trichomes there are, the more relaxing it will be... to make hashish, you usually cut a few weeks late.. be careful that the longer it stays, the higher the chance of becoming hermaphrodite increases.

I say wait for those trichomes to get where you want them. Don't ever sacrifice how you like your buzz growmie.
On another note. The whole light deprivation before harvest is total bro science but I'm not saying not to do it. Just saying it won't make a difference.

Lower buds crumbled at harvestHi growmates, I tried flushing the last week, and the plant seemed to die, with buds beginning to dry. When I harvested, the lower buds just crumbled. 14th day of dry. Small bit of offcut bud reading 58% in 1 ounch grove bag overnight.14th day of dry. Temp/RH have been around 60/60, but not getting snap from stems. Did trim yesterday and took a good deal of dry leaves by simply pulling gently / running the scissors over them. Would you cut and jar at this point or leave until stems are brittle?

I have 3 Gorilla Zkittlez at day 95. One is ready to chop, the other two are not quite there. I’m going on vacation for 7 days. Question: chop them early or let them remain unattended for a week? I usually water every 3-4 days, the plants haven’t gone 7 days without water. WYD?

Tips/advice for first time drying/curing? Did lots of research, looking for anything people overlooked or wish they knew their first time.I know I dont have the ideal conditions (80f 45rh) for drying, but it’s how its going to be as a humidifier and air conditioner for my grow space isnt in the budget atm. I have mason jars and boveda 62% humidity packs. Any other tips I should know for my first time?

Should I trim/jar now or wait another day or 2?Today is day 4 of drying and I've unfortunately had my temps around 68 and humidity at around 42%. The buds feel pretty dry/on the verge of crispy but the stems still have some bend. Should I jar tonight or will the moisture even out and wait for that snap? Thanks for any help!

Harvest/flush time?My Special Kush#1 is today on day 32 of flowering. Today i checked the trichomes and apparently they are mostly white/milky colour. I read that this strain has a 7-8 weeks flowering time, so i was surprised to see them milky. I dont know if start to flush or wait another week.
