Blackberry Kush Harvest

Hello Growing Community, Is the Blackberry Kush ready to harvest or should I wait until week 12? There are some random amber trichomes, but not at 20% yet, I'm looking for a relaxing effect. If so my plan would to let her sit in the dark for 1-2 days, then chop. Thank you!

Depends on what you want but if you want body relaxation you want to wait for more amber usually. Also, the 48 hours of darkness thing is a grower's myth, cannabis can only metabolize sugars into cannabinoids during photosynthesis. No light = no photosynthesis = no terp or thc production. Scientifically there is no proven benefit to 48 hours dark besides your tent maybe smelling more than before because they've been sitting in the dark for so long left alone lol.

@Spuwuky, Thank you for the time answering my question, I'll hold off until I get more amber trichomes. As for the darkness piece, it is good to hear from the community more about that because when you read online you find so much information it is confusing. So far the consensus on here is no dark period before chop and that what I will go with. Thank you!

They are not even close to chopping yet you only been Flowering 6 weeks they need at least 4 more weeks maybe more don't believe the time on the write up its never correct and Flowering time is usually between 9 and 13 weeks just Flowering and not included in the 2 weeks stretch gappy growing but time is what they need

la settimana di taglio la decidi tuse secondo te è pronta taglia..e si 1/2 giorni di buio ci stanno
cmq piu tricomi ambrati ci sono e piu sara'rilassante...per fare l'hashish normalmente si taglia qualche settimana in ritardo..
fai attenzione che piu rimane piu la possibilita di diventare ermafrodita aumenta

I say wait for those trichomes to get where you want them. Don't ever sacrifice how you like your buzz growmie.
On another note. The whole light deprivation before harvest is total bro science but I'm not saying not to do it. Just saying it won't make a difference.

To now 16.6c 51%rh.

Do you let it dry out so the pot is nice and light before you harvest? Or is a little moisture left in the soil ok? Did last flush 48 hrs ago and I'm itching to chop her down, but still slightly damp soil

I have two drying options for my one plant. Wine fridge with perfect temp or closet with perfect humidity. Which is best?Should I dry my one plant in a wine fridge with a compressor that causes the humidity to fluctuate between 50-70% but can be set to a perfect 60f, or should I dry in a closet with perfect 60% humidity but temp at a steady 74f with no way to lower it? How do I figure "wet" weight on this big girl?She's been outside, so I plan to wash the buds and then do a wet cure. (using for edibles). Is it drying right? It seems notI put these plants out to dry in the Herb Dryer and they still look pretty wet, even some that I let dry earlier still look wet a few weeks ago.
