Re-veg flower time

Will a re-veg take longer to flower? I flipped it to 12/12 some time ago (perhaps it still wasn't quiiiite ready?) Going to let it ride however was curious on your thoughts. Pics are a week and a bit apart. I'm thinking it's just taking longer to mature?

Inspected her up and down, no sign of a Hermie, however I was going back thru my diary and I am leaning towards it not being quite ready before flip.

Don't do it! You're more likely to cause a hermie than to see the plant go back to veg and then re-flower on command. Re-vegging only really works on clones taken from a flowering mother plant IMO. At least, that's my experience. I think you might be right, she probably just flipped too early. It's probably partly genetic as well. Perhaps a lack of leaves following defoliation also didn't help - it's hard for the plant to photosynthesise effectively with just a few leaves, and so the plant maybe just doesn't have enough energy. I tend to wait at least 1-2 weeks before flipping after defoliation/topping. I have a chilli plant in my greenhouse which lost all but about four leaves to frost last week - every other chilli planted at the same time was smaller than this one, but they've all since overtaken it in just a few days. This chilli plant will definitively survive, but it's taking an age to produce new leaves and is now on catch-up to the rest. Leaves = energy!
