can't grow without building blocks. "ripening" is growing. it's adding cells. increasing mass.
in order to duplcate cells, it needs all the molecules (made from nutrients and carbon) necessary to makea copy of everything before the cell splits. LEaves can store some spares, but you need to keep up with rate of growth and not 1 snapshot in time.
it doesn'tmatter if a product has the marketing term, "organic," and i promise it is not a scientific term of any discrete meaning as used in horticulture. the plant needs what is broken down into the same things even if originally different things, lol..
K+ ion always behaves like a K+ ion.. it doesn'tmatter if it came from potash or anything elses has no impact on its behaviour nor uses to the plant.
it needs light to grow. it needs nutrients to grow. it needs water to grow. I'm not sure how the hypothesis came about that starving it of any of those three things is a benefit, lol. absurd and untested, which after decades is a huge red flag those that perpetuated it have no understanding of the merits of the scientific method or afraid to test it, properly - flip a coin. a few years ago someonen berated me for having this rational opinon based on limited chem/bio knoweldge that is still a few steps beyond any HS class nonsense. Nice to see more rational minds out there.
