There's another app my uncle uses, called tentbuddy that also helps with measuring your light if u can't get use photone give tentbuddy a try It atleast gets u in a safe range/space with yr lights. Best of luck.

Der Hersteller bietet auch ppfd Maps ihrer Lampe online an. Suchen sie diese und stellen sie ihre Lampe entsprechend ein. In dem aktuellen Stadium ihrer Damen müssen sie die Lampen so einstellen (Höhe + Dimmer), dass die Pflanzen ca. 800 - 1000 ppfd abbekommen.

The same as Chubbs and GrowCN, I measure light intensity with Photone app. It’s a great tool, the cheapest alternative for professional Apogee sensor. I mean you will have to unlock the Full spectrum LED parameter for few bucks. That’s worth it 😉

Like Chubbs, I do not guess. I measure. I use the app called PPFD Meter. I hold my phone at the top of my plant and can vary the height or light's power to get the illumination I want. This is nice because it can give you some options. You can position the light higher and at a higher setting which allows more light to bounce off the sides of the tent and makes the sweet spot in the middle larger. Or, you can turn the power down and lower the light to save electricity and heat. No app on a phone is going to be perfectly accurate because they are not calibrated, but they are accurate enough to get the job done.

I started using an app on my phone called Photon to measure the ppfd/par at canopy level so I could make sure it was at the right strength. I will also hang my lights about 36-40in above the canopy and that seems to be a good height.
