You could do 8 but I would go with 6 personally. More plants leaves you open to more problems, and I doubt you'll have trouble getting a full canopy with 6 so yield shouldn't be affected.

Please help identify the cause, interveinal chlorosis since 2 weeks old, no necrosis so far. These two plants are 26 days old.
