Seeking a reasonably priced light for 2x4x6 tent (still)

I'm interested in picking this up. Thoughts? I have a 2x4x6 tent. I believe it's 50w x 8sqft is 400 watts needed?

Hi!
I think this is a good choice for an HPS lamp. 400 watts will definitely be sufficient, as it can get quite warm. The other options of 600 watts and 1000 watts are too heavy for the size of your tent. With an LED, I would comfortably say to go a bit higher, but with HPS it's too risky for burning. Also, make sure to have enough ventilation and fresh air intake.

Hi—- if you are looking for a bargain light—- skip amazon and buy a Mars it ViparSpectra directly from the company! It saves taxes and often times is less$$$$. For vipar use promo code ChiTown and for mars use code Webb. Go to their websites. You can do two ts1000 or two p1500s or just get one big light! Good luck. ✌️🏻💚🌿

I run the mars hydro sp250 wich is the old version of the sp300. And hands down it's a badass light. It has the power to flower up to 6 plants in the gallon pots and the strength to bring out the strains terpene profiles and different colors each strain has. Your light is the most crucial aspect of your grow.

Lights airstone c02What light to plant distance would you set it at? The only test I've done is at 25 inches its stable at 80°f and 75% humidity. When I lower it to 18 inches, the tent read 85°f and 73 humidity.
