Anyone have any idea what is going on with this Watermelon Zkittlez Auto? She has had funky looking leaves since she started growing leaves. Nutes and enviro details in diary description. All other ladies in tent healthy with same nutes, soil and environment. Genetics??

it's a bit worrisome it is on the new growth. genetic or disease? good chance it grows inferior buds, in my experience. you can assess it better than i can in a picture. usually those 'bad' apples aren't as robust foliage or grow a bit slower... if it'd just be an empty space you might as well keep growing it though. At this point i wouldn't be certain about it being a dud. if node spacing and growth rate is good, migh as well go with it, but any other coinciding red flags, i'd re-focus on other plants and let this one go. i've tried to salvage ugle plants in the past and rarely felt the effort was worth it. a selfed garlic storm recently fit that description. i had another with funky leaves that was a piece of shit too. usually this sort of stuff goes away with newer growth. that early stuff can be belemished, so be patient while you can.

I'm going with a genetic flaw in this particular bean. She's the largest of the tent but has that mosaic issue going on. There is room in the tent (for now) to keep her so I will continue to monitor and document going forward.

Yeah I always call that a mosaic virus personally. It’s genetic most likely. Cute dogs
