12/20 Placed seed in between folded damp paper towel inside a rubbermaid container. Placed container on seedling mat and placed inside recently cleaned tent. 12/21 Taproot is 1/2 inch so placed seedling into Mother Earth Coco + Perlite with 2 tsp/gal of Grow Dots into 5 gallon Ac Infinity fabric pot. Created a center hole for seedling with end of pencil and shook some Great White into the hole before placing the seedling and lightly covering it with Coco. Misted soil with 5.8 pH water. This was 10pm so I left lights on in tent overnight. Lights were set at 22 inches from pot and 30% power. Tent is 75 degrees and DLI approximately 12.

12/23 Day 1 Seedling emerged overnight. I use reverse osmosis water and I gave .25 ml/ltr Calmag and Rhino Skin with 5.8 pH water 121 ppm and watered in a circle around plant. Then I gave Recharge to entire pot to start the bacteria doing it's thing. Recharge raises water pH ALOT it is said you do not have to adjust pH but I was uncomfortable with such a high number so I diluted with very low pH water to bring down to 6.1 pH. This is my first grow in coco so I will be experimenting and learning alot as I go. Also first grow using Grow Dots ( should probably have done a grow with them in soil to compare but not this time). My plan is to water around plant in a circle every day at least once up to 3 times a day depending on how plant is responding. 12/25 Day 3 I have been giving the plant 5.8 pH'd water with nothing added 1-2 times a day ( just a circle or two around plant with a syringe 40 ml). She is smaller than my plants grown in highly amended peat based soil. I am thinking the grow dots are not getting wet enough yet to release nutrients. Lights at 40% and 22 inches from plant. 12/28 Day 6 I purchased some Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow parts A&B for Coco to try to help seedling along until grow dots can kick in. Not sure how this will work as I have never used grow dots before. However I did use the medium strength amount of grow dots and I am very familiar with Advanced Nutrients Sensi pH perfect line from my soil grows. I used just 1 ml/ltr of both A&B with pH of 5.85 and aprox 250 ppm. 12/29 Day 7 staying with same amount of Advanced nutrients just 1 ml/ltr of both A&B with pH of 5.85 and aprox 250 ppm too soon to tell if it is helping much. This plant is bigger than the Banana Purple Punch planted at same time under same conditions. I decided to go ahead and set up my self watering bases. As of right now, I will be using a very mild calmag solution for the self watering bases. I know the roots have not reached the bottom of the pot yet but I am hoping the wicking will keep the bottom half of the pots grow dots moist so they will be available as my plant needs them. My plan for this grow once the plants roots have reached the bottom is to lightly mist the top daily with plain r/o pH'd to 5.8 and once a week on my recharge day I will water from the top until runoff to keep from having the salts accumulate in the mid pot area. After that, I will water in my recharge.

12/30 Day 8 Top water pH'd to 5.8 Then Added 1 ltr recharge to plant. Forgot to water to runoff so will do it this week. 1/1 Day 10 Changed Base water 1ml/ltr CalMag pH 5.8. Top watered with 1ml/ltr Sensi Coco Grow A&B and Rhino Skin 1/3 Day 12 Watered to Runoff with 1ml/ltr CalMag 5.85 pH 1.92 ppm DLI 19 and plant is 2.5 inches tall. 1/4 Day 13 Top Water 5.8 pH Removed Base for cleaning will put back later next week as plants tips are still not to side of pot but getting closer. 1/5 Day 14 Top Water 1ml/ltr CalMag 5.8 pH Second set of True leaves is emerging. Plant seems to be getting the nutes from the grow dots now so I will not be using the Advanced Nutrients unless they start to show deficiency.

1/13 Day 22 Cleaned bases and refilled 1 ml/ltr Cal/Mag pH 5.8 She is 8.75 inches tall 1/15 Day 24 Just added water to base same 1ml/ltr Cal/Mag pH 5.8 She is now 11.5 inches tall 1/16 Day 25 Watered to Runoff with .5 tsp/gal of Recharge. Placed back in tent to dry before putting them back on the self water bases. She is 13.5 inches tall 1/17 Day 26 Tips of leaves look just slightly too dark green. I also noticed that when I was busy last week I did not get the light lowered and she has a few spots down lower where there is close to 3 inches between nodes instead of the 1 inch I am used to seeing. This seems to have made those areas a bit flimsier than I am used too. My last grows were very solid and thick stems. Watered with 1 ml/ltr of Rhino Skin to the top and 1 ml/ltr cal/mag to flush away some of the nitrogen probably sitting in the middle due to the self watering bases just to be safe. She is starting pre-flower anyway. Placed back on bases with 1 ml/ltr Cal/Mag ph 5.8 1/18 Day 27 Raised lights to 50% DLi is 24 at center top of plant 18 inches from the canopy . Fan leaves are seriously WAY bigger than my hand! 1/19 Day 28 She is now 19 inches tall and doesn't show any signs of slowing down. My cat was at the emergency vet hospital this week ( he is going to be ok just needs prescription food from now on) and I did not have time to start LST so I went HARD at her today. Bent the main stem about 5 inches from top to even the canopy and then arranged all the lower stems so everyone is in the light. She is definitly starting to drink more so Added more water to the base pH 5.8.

1/21 Day 30 Pot was bone dry even though base was half full of water. I did notice that with the increased distance between nodes the main stem growths have been softer for longer before it toughens up. As a result, when I bent the main branch over more for LST to keep even canopy AND not run out of room the stem actually bent pretty severely. I don't know if that is the reason for the no drinking that day. Not sure what happened here but decided to move this pot to other side of tent where humidifer is. It was on the heater side. Unfortunately these items are too big to put in the middle of the tent without taking up valuable light so they are on either side. Watered to runoff from the top then placed bak on the refilled base. 1 ml/ltr CalMag for base and hand watering. Changed Supplemental lights to level 2. she is 21 inches tall if you count the fold over 3 inches 1/22 Day 31 Refilled base 1ml/ltr CalMag pH 6.0 1/23 Day 32 Refilled base 1ml/ltr CalMag pH 6.0. Raised light intensity to 60% and Top watered in Rhino Skin 1 ml/ltr. DLI at hottest spot 33. 1/24 Day 33 Top Water Recharge at .5 tsp/gal Refilled bases 1ml/ltr Calmag pH 5.9. Had an issue where my inline exhaust fan was stopping and starting when set to on. Figure it is either going out or the carbon filter is so I changed to a new refillable carbon filter and it seems to have worked. Also Moved support bar from front of tent and put supplemental lights in each corner instead of around perimeter. Had to move my clip on oscillating fans up so not ideal but plants were touching the supplemental lights. 1/25 Day 34 Filled Bases 1ml/ltr Calmag 5.9 pH defoliated a few fan leaves plant is now 26 inches tall. 1/26 Day 35 Filled bases with 1ml/ltr CalMag AND .75ml/ltr of Rhino skin as well as a very light top watering of these nutes. Defoliated more. Tried to move light up but rinning out of room was able to get a little more height. Plant is 29 inches tall and hottest spot DLI is 40

1/27 Day 36 Filled base with .5ml/ltr Rhino Skin and 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag 5.8 pH. Defoliated a few leaves DLI 41 If these things don't stop stretching we are going to have a light issue!! I need to figure out how to mount exhaust and carbon filter further back this week. 1/28 Day 37 Filled Base with 1 ml/ltr Big Bud Coco and 1.5ml/ltr CalMag also lightly top watered this in. Did 6.0 pH this time. Plant is getting so big I almost ripped a branch off trying to get it out of tent to clean the base. I could not find the floral tape (I suspect the kitten has taken it again) so I used medical paper tape and taped it. Fingers Crossed!!! 1/29 Day 38 Filled Base 1ml/ltr Rhino Skin, 1.5ml/ltr CalMag, and1ml/ltr Big Bud Coco Raised supplemental light intensity to 60% I do prefer them mounted at the corners to my original way. Main light is at 70% and is 15 inches from the plant AFTER I moved the carbon filter and exhaust fan to the back wall to free up some top space. DLI 40 Light Defoliation of big blocking leaves. 1/30 Day 39 Filled bases 1ml/ltr CalMag and Big Bud Coco 5.8 pH 1/31 Day 40 Recharge Day! Top water .5tsp/gal. The bases were filled with 1.5ml/ltr Rhino skin, 1ml/ltr CalMag, and 1ml/ltr Big Bud Coco 5.8 pH Plant is now 36.5 inches tall and 14 inches from light DLI 40 2/1 Day 41 Filled bases with 1ml/ltr Rhino Skin, .5 ml/ltr CalMag, 1ml/ltr Big Bud Coco. Plant is now 38 inches tall raised lights a bit more kept DLI 40 2/2 Day 42 Filled Bases with 1ml/ltr Rhino Skin, 1ml/ltr CalMag, 1ml/ltr Big Bud Coco Defoliated and Cleaned the bases today.

2/3 Day 43 Filled Bases with 1ml/ltr Rhino Skin, .5 ml/ltr CalMag, 1.5 ml?ltr Big Bud with 5.8 pH. Was told by another grower I may be using too much CalMag during flower so I decided to see what would happen if I lowered it as I don't want to cause toxicity. Not sure if this is true my plants look fabulous but I am still pretty new to all of this. 2/4 Day 44 Filled Bases with 1ml/ltr Rhino Skin, .5 ml/ltr CalMag, 1.5 ml?ltr Big Bud with 5.8 pH. 2/5 Day 45 I noticed what MIGHT be a few orange spots starting so I am upping my CalMag back where I had it previously. I believe the grower I was chatting with was not correct. Filled Bases with 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag and Big Bud Coco 5.8 pH 2/6 Day 46 Filled Bases with 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag and Big Bud Coco 5.8 pH. Noticed maybe a few more of those orange spots very tiny but there. 2/7 Day 47 Recharge Day!! Top Watered 1ml/ltr Rhino Skin and CalMag to moisten soil for my Recharge in the morning. Midday top watered .5 tsp/gal Recharge I decided to do this to runoff as this is my first time with the Grow Dots and I wanted to make sure there was not a buildup starting causing the beginning of the orange dots I am seeing. Got 2 liters of Runoff with 230 ppm and 5.94 pH so I am thinking there is not a salt buildup happening. I previously had used top watering in soil with Advanced Nutrients line and ALWAYS watered to runoff so this is interesting to me that it has not happened with the way I am growing now. COOL!! Cleaned Bases and Wicks and filled them back up with 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag and Big Bud Coco 5.8 pH, Also raised supplemental lights a bit and intensity to 80%. 2/8 Day 48 Filled Bases with 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag and BigBud Coco 5.8 pH 2/9 Day 49 Filled Bases with 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag and BigBud Coco 5.8 pH REMINDER I turn my plants 1/4 rotation EVERY day for 2 reasons. 1 is to make sure that the roots do not start to grow into my wicks and 2 is to make sure all of my buds get a chance under the center part of the tent lighting.

it needs just as much Ca in flower as vege. so if you did make a recent change, it is possibly related. bit early to be certain. looks a bit overly lush though in general. This doesn't look to be off of either of the 2 current diaries? But looks like you are soilless/hydro context, so... Ca greater than 100ppm is good.. may need more. That would the total of what you add in your fertilizer mix, not just 1 product. Part of a 1.3-1.5 EC overall concentration, give or take. If giving more, chances are something is building up in the plant, which can also impact availability of other nutes. If giving 100ppm or more consistently, and these problems more clearly discern t hemselves as Ca-related, it could be from too much of something else. If pH is too low, similar situation where you might have plenty of Ca but availabilty is constrained due to low pH diagnosing stuff is always a bunch of maybes.. cross-reference what you know and make the best decision. if those spots are on very few leaves, i'd wait a second before reacting in any drastic fashion.

Cleaned the bases and the wick lines 2/12 Day 52 Top Watered 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag and Big Bud Coco and filled bases with same. 5.8 pH. The orange spots I noticed last week are still there and maybe a few more though not sure as this darn plant is so tall I cannot easily see the top of it where the spots are. I only noticed them as I was siting under the plant watering the base and the spots show through the leaves a bit. 2/13 Day 53 Filled Bases 1.5 ml/ltr Calmag and Big Bud Coco 6.0 pH Read during flower 6.0 to 6.2 pH is better than 5.8 to 6.0 so I am starting her out on 6.0 pH as the pH rises a few tenths as it sits in the base throughout the day. 2/14 Day 54 Recharge Day! .5tsp/gal Recharge plus 1 ml/ltr CalMag top watered in 6.0 pH. Added my small homemade ceramic bulb heater to back corner as the roots of this one seem a bit cold. It is furthest away from the oil radiator. Runoff was 478 ppm and 6.15 pH. Cleaned bases and wicks then Added normal water to bases of 1.5ml/ltr CalMag and Big Bud Coco pH 6.0 2/15 Day 55 Added 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag and Big Bud to Bases 6.08 pH 2/16 Day 56 Added 1/5ml/ltr CalMag to Bases 6.0 pH REMINDER I turn my plants 1/4 rotation EVERY day for 2 reasons. 1 is to make sure that the roots do not start to grow into my wicks and 2 is to make sure all of my buds get a chance under the center part of the tent lighting.

To me, that looks like an excess of nitrogen. This is causing a blockage of secondary nutrients.

2/17 Day 57 Filled Bases 1.5ml/ltr CalMag 6.0 pH 2/18 Day 58 Filled Bases 1.5ml/ltr CalMag 6.0 pH. I really don't know what is going on! Why does it look like a Calcium Deficiency? Giving them plenty of CalMag and stopped using the PK Booster Big bud in case it was locking out the Calcium. I am going to water top tomorrow and try to get some of whatever is in the root area out to see if that helps. I almost wonder if the CalMag I am adding to the bases is not fully reaching the plant? Maybe getting stuck in the wicks? UGH!!!! 2/19 Day 59 Still seeing these orange spots on my topmost leaves. So I top watered today with several liters of runoff. 1.5ml/ltr CalMag 6.0 pH as top water and in the bases 2/20 Day 60 Filled Bases 1.5ml/ltr CalMag 6.0 pH 2/21 Day 61 Recharge Day! Topwatered 1.5ml/ltr CalMag and .5 tsp/gal of Recharge. runoff 6.1 pH and 386 ppm 2/22 Day 62 Filled bases with 2 ml/ltr CalMag. Maybe it just needs more? 1.5 ml/ltr and still showing the deficiency. I started to think light burn as these are so tall and I cannot raise light any higher but it looks nothing like the light burn I had in the past. I am keeping my lights at 70% because they are so close. It looks to me like Calcium deficiency. Starting to BARELY see it on my other plant in the tent now. REMINDER I turn my plants 1/4 rotation EVERY day for 2 reasons. 1 is to make sure that the roots do not start to grow into my wicks and 2 is to make sure all of my buds get a chance under the center part of the tent lighting.

Iv had a scan through your diary and I'd say end of week 6 into week 7 you started to get the problem. The problem may have started earlier but only started showing around them 2 weeks. The growth with calcium problems won't recover, your should be looking more at if its progressing. If its not progressing you may have got it sorted out, if it is progressing then the problem still persist. I haven't used AN nutes for a long time so can't quite remember what doses it says bit it does look like your giving the amount of calcium I would give. That leads me to think you PH may be out in the coco, check your runoff ph and if it's massively out from your input ph then that's your problem.

2/24 Day 64 I am thinking my root zone is too cold. Moved one of my fans to the bottom next to the radiant oil heater to push air down and across to far side of tent. Still dealing with spots that look like Calcium deficiency but cannot possibly be so. 2/26 Day 66 Filled Bases with 1.5ml/ltr CalMag 6.0 pH 2/27 Day 67 Filled Bases with 1.5ml/ltr CalMag 6.0 pH 2/28 Day 68 Recharge Day 1.5ml/ltr CalMag and .5tsp/gallon Recharge. Top watered in CalMag water first then the Addition of Recharge once media was wetted. Filled Bases with 1.5 ml/ltr CalMag 6.0 pH 2/29 Day 69 Filled Bases with 1.5ml/ltr CalMag 5.9 pH 3/1 Day 70 I have been a bit Nitrogen toxic and thought there was nothing I could do because I am using grow dots and I had to wait them out. Turns out I am still such a Newbie that I did not realize that Advanced Nutrients Sensi CalMag Xtra (which I use EVERY water since I am in coco and using Reverse osmosis water) is actuall 4-0-0 so I have been adding Nitrogen every water :( I purcahsed General Hydroponics Calimagic is a 1-0-0 ratio so I am hoping that fixes some of my N toxicity. We shall see, can't hurt at this point as I am out of ideas. 3/9 Day 78 Filled Bases with 1 ml/ltr Calimagic 5.8 pH 3/10 Day 79 Filled Bases with 1 ml/ltr Calimagic 5.8 pH 3/11 Day 80 Filled Bases with 1 ml/ltr Calimagic 5.8 pH 3/12 Day 81 Filled Bases with 1 ml/ltr Calimagic 5.8 pH 3/13 Day 82 Recharge Day! 1ml/ltr CaliMagic plus .5 tsp/gallon of Recharge top watered in. First water with no recharge to wet media then the recharge to runoff. Filled Bases with 1 ml/ltr CaliMagic 5.8 pH Also Today I had to start adding bamboo stake to keep my plant upright. Her buds are getting very heavy! I pulled out the other plant in the tent to start watering it and cleaning the base and while this one was alone in the tent one of her big limbs just fell over from the weight. It did not break but I added bamboo to keep them all inline. 3/14 Day 83 Filled Bases with 1 ml/ltr Calimagic 5.8 pH Started checking trichomes and she has very little amber so going to go another week or 2 most likely. Her leaves are purpling up some more and the buds are definitely more purple and it is pretty to look at! 3/15 Day 84 Filled Bases with 1 ml/ltr Calimagic 5.8 pH REMINDER I turn my plants 1/4 rotation EVERY day for 2 reasons. 1 is to make sure that the roots do not start to grow into my wicks and 2 is to make sure all of my buds get a chance under the center part of the tent lighting.

3/16 Day 85 1ml/ltr Calmag 5,8 pH to bases 3/17 Day 86 1ml/ltr Calmag 5,8 pH to bases 3/18 Day 87 1ml/ltr Calmag 5,8 pH to bases. Added more Bamboo to hold up the heavy buds 3/19 Day 88 1ml/ltr Calmag 6.0 pH to bases 3/20 Day 89 Recharge Day 1ml/ltr CaliMagic 6.0 pH topwatered first to flush plant some as it seems to be struggling a bit. Grow dots are supposed to not need flushing but I think bottom watering the plants with Calimagic only and then top watering in the recharge once a week has got it with some suspended salts. Then Recharge at .5 tsp/gal and 1 ml/ltr Calimagic top watered in at 6.0 pH. Cleaned bases and refilled them with 1 ml/ltr Calimagic to 6.0 pH 3/21 Day 90 1ml/ltr Calmag 6.0 pH to bases These ladies have some beautiful purple in the buds and leaves. I wish I wouldnt have had the nutes issue earlier so that there was not so much yellow. The purple is pretty. 3/22 Day 91 1ml/ltr Calmag 6.0 pH to bases REMINDER I turn my plants 1/4 rotation EVERY day for 2 reasons. 1 is to make sure that the roots do not start to grow into my wicks and 2 is to make sure all of my buds get a chance under the center part of the tent lighting.

4/1 Day 101 I am going to harvest tomorrow. Plants look like they are definitely done. Just fading and not packing on any more weight. 4/2 Day 102 Harvest Day. These are my best looking buds so far. Only a few grows under my belt but each one is getting better and that is all I can ask to keep learning and growing. I did a pretty good wet trim. I took off all of the fan leaves and alot of the sugar leaves if they were easily accessible. Hoping this will make my dry trim time quicker. Wet weight after trim is 1036.3 g or 36.56 oz. Will update dry weight once I get them out of dry tent this week and the final trim done to go into cure jars. I am drying these in a 2x2 Mars Hydro tent with self made pvc grid for hanging them and "roach clips" on hooks for hanging each branch. I have a fan blowing the air out of the top through some ducting and into my neighboring 4x2 Ac Infinity tent for exhaust and odor control. Inside the dry tent I have an Ac Infinity fan at the bottom to circulte air anda small fan pointed at the wall mid tent.
