Truthfully you can switch if you like but it will kill the biodiversity in your living soil, I myself switched to 20-20-20 as soon as I got them outdoors and they're thriving hard and huge, some of the biggest plants I've ever grown to date. But I guess it boils down to personal preference and how much time you have to take care of them as well, using Gaia is set it and forget it for a month and with 20-20-20 you have to repeat every 4 days or so. Depending on what you want and how much time you have it's up to you but NO it won't hurt the plants if you do decide to switch it over, best of luck

Definitely. May need a slower transition. 20-20-20 may not be the best ratio as ohers said. Root zone biodiversity will be a nonissue once eyou are using 100% soluble and plant ready product. if the nutes you use are already chelated, bacteria is not needed outside of competition to reduce risk of bad bacteria et al gaining a foothold. Outside it may be perfectly fine to use 20-20-20 because it's more about supplementingn your local ground soil contents. if gaia green 4 4 4 was fine, then this will be fine too. adjust to proper concentation and it's giving same ratio of building blocks as before, so you'lll have similar results as before. growth is faster with 100% chelated nutrients.
