I've done this and the seeds turned out good. its called a S1 or self pollinated first gen. Depending on how good the genetics where to begin with will determine the output of the seeds your making. I would not use any of the seeds you collect for any other breeding projects as its going to only go down hill if using the same genes over and over. if Mixing in some new genes then I would still opt for getting new seeds from the breeder vs using the off spring you collect. None of the plants I grew from my S1 project went hemri and they all grew about the same. granted I used a name brand seed that was pretty good genetics to start off with. growdiaries.com/diaries/129779-grow-journal-by-m0use Good Luck!

Yes it will work, the only issue may be development of seed, but try it anyways. But worst case you can let that branch go even longer than normal. Hopefully you were surgical with you application of the silver, because you do not want it to get on smoking buds.

I got nothing to lose, I got 2 more seeds of this strain. I can always harvest the pollen for the next time and pollenate. I just love playing about with this plant so diverse. But thanks for dropping by and giving me some advice. I'm gonna let it run full term regardless..

The plant was a female auto flower, I used silver to reverse 1 branch, so technically it's DNA is female autoflower, so won't the seeds be mother genetics. Female autoflower?? I'm gonna let it run anyways, as it's a experiment 1x1ft tent.collect the pollen and use on the next.

High bro, if it would be that easy than everyone would do it. The seeds will be useless because the seeds are the genetics from the mother plant. So they will mainly be hermies and not of good quallity. If you want to make female seeds then you can turn a female plant into a male with silverwater and let that plant pollinate another female plant. But a self pollinated autoflower does not produce usefull seeds. I would cut away as much male flowers and nanners as possible. And let the buds grow till ready. And when the buds are ready make hash, oil, rosin or another extract from it. Enjoy the rest of your grow buddy!
